Am i the only one who finds that many details are not up to par with first class? The underside of the fabric of the footrest of his first class seat torn on the right, the cramped toilet, fingerprints and dirt everywhere (seat monitor, cockpit window, dirt on the electrical sockets in the small storage area), some elements of the meal ("dauphine potatoes", softness of the roll, etc.).

That was so nice to leave a tip for housekeeping. As a housekeeper myself that cleans vacation rentals, it is very nice when someone does this. It's totally not expected, so it is nice. And that clam chowder looked so yummy!

As an FYI in case any of you (including Solo) were curious and did not know: White clam chowder is New England style and red is Manhattan style. If I remember correctly, New England uses a cream base while Manhattan is tomato based.

That "first class" was not worth $17000. With the cabin being in a 1-2-1 configuration, that doesn't even feel like a true first class. Honestly it just looked like a good business class and should have been priced at $5000. Can you call BA and ask for you $12000 back?

That lump of 'coal' 😂 is called a Yorkshire pudding which is usually included in roast beef or any sunday roast in England. It's just a big lump of batter made of eggs, flour, and milk and baked in the oven. The 'finger' is what the Brits call pigs in blankets, which is just a small type of sausage wrapped in bacon and cooked in the oven.

The mystery croissant thing was a Yorkshire pudding. Very traditional English but usually not that crunchy. Similar to a popover.

I have to say that most of the food you had on this flight did not look that great. I noted that some of the upholstery in your seating area was torn and everything is looking very dated and in need of upgrade. The tv screen look filthy, as for the toilet in on a first class flight , grim! Thankfully they are retro fitting the A380 buy the end of 2025 or early 2026. Until then, I think I will be avoiding BA . I love your videos .

Actually after spending time in England on 2 trips the best food there was Indian food. Incidentally, being born and raised in Louisiana wiping your plate with a roll or bread is considered essential and a sign you really enjoyed the meal.

As a Brit I’m embarrassed by BA. The ticket is way overpriced and the cleanliness is appalling. I wonder how the staff were? My experiences have been poor!

Nice so see you wandering around in SF. Pier 39 is OK, but for the real local experience, next-time go to Alioto's #9 a bit further down the docks. Love their fresh crab and hot soup. Btw, there is no wrong way to eat a bread bowl. you're doing it right. :)

Great flight. Just realized this series of around the world in first class came to the end. Well, I must say, the first class on BA A380 feels like Business Class.

El Farolito was a good choice for a taqueria at 24th St and Mission St. Nearby is Taqueria San Jose, which was quite scary, with excellent food. But a few years ago they cleaned it up, now it's safe(-r?), still with excellent food. Also the famous, and crowded, and more expensive, La Taqueria. You did fine. There is a regular farmer's market at the Ferry Building a few times a week. Good local food there. Harry Kane is just going to have to be satisfied with being the top scorer in every league and competition, and fabulously rich. Good video!

for SoloSoloTravel, the concorde you saw is G-BOAB, the last concorde at Heathrow. It has been staying there since 2000 and is at a bad state where rats and other small animals are destroying the interior. Hope this helps
