I tried DPS Sucrose for a day

Since I got C6 Faruzan one of the main units I wanted to trying doing a crit DPS build for was Sucrose, especially since I got her C4 recently too! I had a couple ideas to test out with her though, so this video ended up a bit more free form to show that experience.

Actually i did her main dps with xianyun, faruzan and furina. You can try this team later, everyone needs zero ER, and it just slaps, plus hydro infusion in sucrose's burst helps herself swirl hydro on her plunges. To maximize her damage, use an attack goblet, instead of an anemo one

since Furina buffs give a lot of dmg bonus, a goblet of the stat that the character scales with would give slightly more dmg@@ihateads1023

You had me at 0 ER! Yeah I shouldve mentioned that a big benefit of plunge sucrose, by nature of being mono anemo, likely wouldnt need much energy recharge at all lol. I just didnt want to do another plunge team this video, but will likely play around with plunge Sucrose a bit still

A very small nitpick, i am not sure about kazuha but i do know for a fact that faruzan can indeed guba swirl as iirc her coding is essentially a copy paste of sucrose element skill in it's behaviour. I thought someone would have commented this by now but the mechanical serpent is very simple to take down, all you gotta do is hit the 4 glowing cores behind its head once it starts spinning. Most reliable way of doing so is spamming not fully charged charged attacks with a bow character at them preferably at the start of the spinning as it spins a lot slower so you can aim more comfortably. Although all these tips help it's simple NOT easy.

Ty, I’ve not looked into who can guoba swirl in a while lol. I think sucrose still would be the easiest to time though. Yeah the serpent moves so fast that it’s basically impossible to intentionally hit the cores then. I guess it’s just use AoE abilities and pray lol

When I was a new player sugar (sucrose I just call her sugar) was my main dps as I didn’t know better. She literally ATE through everything and I had bad builds (they never got better tho so) and she did very well even with bad builds and teams so sugar is one of my favorite characters and this video made me very happy ❤

I got C6 Sucrose pulling for Ayaka (I'm a relatively new player) and invested into her under principle that she was my first C6. In one week she felt so powerful, and that's with an EM build! For the awful domain, I like to use a burn team because cryo erases the Pyro application so quickly. I'm loving Bennett/Baizhu/Xiangling/Sucrose and can now clear it with ease ❤

I recently pulled sucrose and I love her! in my opinion she's especially great a swirling Pyro. I use her along with thoma and diluc.

Nice video testing!, it was very satisfying to see the different teams perform. For a Taser Sucrose team with c6 Faruzan what about Fischl vs Raiden, which one is better? For the Hydro application and healing my Kokomi has that covered. What about 2ble Anemo, 2ble Hydro with Sucrose, Faruzan, Furina, Kokomi, how would it perform?

Sadly the lack of ability to get characters (and their constellations) made weapons only quite un fun to me. DPS Sucrose is a good example of just not having access to the relevant characters (C6 Faruzan/Furina/Cloud Retainer) to make DPSing her work on Weapons Only. The weapon itself is kinda the least important thing. Will hopefully have a video soon breaking down what made weapons only so unfun to me. Im enjoying the game more since Ive stopped playing on the account lol

Try widsith with all em peices except for goblet crit rate and aim for crit rate sub stats with bennett and see how things goes

I too have c6 Faruzan (got 7 copies trying to get Nahida), but my Sucrose is c0 and my other anemo characters are Jean and Lynette. I don't know why the game thought, that I wanted her...

diona doesnt have as much potential due to being more supportive, but she is p similar in how she is tuned. for some reason her burst dot is like 110%, and her cryo% compensates for her low base attack (whilst making flat damage bonus nuts). her bow icd makes c4 not the best, but hey a standardized modifier + cryo% + charge reduction is okay.

Interesting thing about Sucrose is that she has abnormally high multipliers so that allows her to be a strangely good DPS, it's not as good as her normal build but it is nice that it has only gotten better with time with the advent of characters like Faruzan.

tips bennet have 2 pyro aplication when he use his skill, u can use his skill and his infusion to destroy cryo sheild faster

Can also dump Bennett for Kuki. By C4, she can do 11 electro applications per rotation, meaning she just mulches cryo shields as well. Toss in Fischl on top of that for her A4, and life is easy. Though still annoying in that domain, hehe.

Yeah, Dehya is hampered due to the coordinated attack functionality of her elemental skill. Like Raiden and Albedo, shields shut her elemental skill procs down.

Hmm I couldve sworn he couldnt. Will doublr check it though. Someone else also mentioned Faruzan can Guoba swirl too, which is cool. At the very least Sucrose is easy to time guioba swirls.

⁠⁠@@SolunerraFaruzan can 100% Guoba swirl but it’s a bit more annoying to do. You need to do fully loaded E charge attacks and it’s actually the explosion after hitting that swirls Guoba. This makes the timing of it less direct and a bit more difficult compared to Sucrose. I’m also not sure if the AOE on it is as big as Sucrose’s either. Obviously Sucrose is just a better support in EM focused Xiangling teams, but Faruzan’s Guoba swirl can still be a good skill to develop for stuff like 2x pyro 2x anemo (where main onfielder might not want VV), getting extra app on cryo shields, or doing abyss randomizer content.

8:54 Ive NEVER seen this menu before and I had to pop in game to see what that was. Damn, how long have we been able to make more than 4 teams? I feel like such a dunce for never pressing UP on my controller here >.> Also, why Fischl over Yae?

Fischl is a lot better for electro charged because she reapplies electro and deals extra dmg whenever an electro reaction occurs with her passive. That includes when you swirl electro and when anyone triggers electro charged in that team. She basically enables constant reactions to occur (limited by the other teammates combined application) compared to Yae who has fairly standard rules for her application

Use pyro or electro. Mainly bow characters for mondo talents domain Moreover claymore characters can break all cryo shields Better use Noelle or Navia 🤷🤷🤦
