This app is no better than a virus, no joke. I turned on my computer one day only to have it immediately shutdown the moment I opened a web browser. After several restarts I managed to get task manager open to see HP Omen Gaming Hub had replicated itself 100x times, eating up 100% of my CPU and Memory. Remove it before it bricks your computer.

@TrentonR When I managed to get task manager open, ending the tasks normally wasn't working. You gotta find the setting that disables the app on startup, then uninstall the program. I believe you can find more settings and app properties through the task manager. If the computer is crashing before you can make any changes, try booting up in safe mode and see if you can remove the program. My PC seems to be working fine now, but I'm sure if it was left on overnight, it would've fried. Hope you're able to resolve the problem, fuck HP and their shitty software(malware)

Do you know which performance mode is applied when we uninstalled it? I wish for Performance mode (not Quiet or even Eco).

Ram speed is set in BIOS. People want to install to make there computers faster. Not slower. lol

@@BleepingWorld ask steam. It got installed with my last update from them. It didn't exist on my PC previously as I got it before it was getting preinstalled. I had to let it install as the steam update wouldn't go past the "would you like to make changes window for Omen. So I guess it's more accurate to say Steam forced me to install the damned thing

@@TheNatos No sir, I'm not a troll. Its a real question. To prevent the install in the first place will depend on the hardware you are using. For example: Motherboards Have app installs programed into the bios. HP makes a lot of parts, Monitors, Printers, Desktops, Laptops, etc. Do you have any other HP components?
