I played drums for 20 years and still have no clue what Dave Weckl is doing. The man is an alien.

DW can play more with any 3 fingers of his left hand than 99.9% of all other drummers can manage to play with both hands and both feet. Other than that, he's just another guy sittin' behind some drums...

Dave playing differently here. It's fresh. I don't like when he plays w Kennedy. He resorts to that early 90s vibe. This is way better!

There’s levels to everything and this performance gives most musicians a taste of what the top tier sound like.

The guy just has everything. Superb technical ability. 4 way independence. Great touch. And his ideas...he never repeats himself except where the composition calls for it. Been a drummer all mu life and a jazz player for last 20 years. Never seen his kind before. Simply the best drummer in the world.

Yet another master class in musicianship by Mr. Weckl and Mr. Patitucci. This is my first-time hearing Mr. Keivan and he is definitely on point. Oh well, time to go practice some more.

You're witnessing three exceptionally-talented musicians interacting like one cohesive unit. Each, in an of itself, a master class, a lifetime of analysis for an average musician to reverse-engineer. Tight. On-point. If if you look close enough, Dave actually adjust his snare drum in the middle of doing what most drummers could never come close to executing. Love the video, technically, too. Great birdseye views. Rare insights. What a gift to see this talent.

Stunning perfection... we all know Dave and John for many years, but Hami is new to me and just fantastic. In the music world this is what we would affectionately call, "Steely Dan level perfect"

I'm not saying Dave and John invented fusion, but Elektric Band really brought it to the forefront in the late 80's and early 90's. These guys are monsters and we should be happy to be in a world where they live and still create music.
