Some Musina residents in Limpopo are rejecting the water supply agreement signed with Zimbabwe. Residents accuse both the local and district municipality of disregarding their plight. The area has battled water shortages for years. This week the South African government signed a contract that will deliver 15 million cubic metres of treated water from Beitbridge Water Treatment Works in Zimbabwe to Musina.
