My former Principal Jeanette Grant-Woodham of Tivoli Gardens High School was such a stalwart in education. Toots my friend passed last years as well and my friend and former neighbor Courtney Robb will be missed. Bob Andy a legend of Reggae music.

Renown Retired Superintendent of Police Artice Brown-Getton passed away in June 2020. She was 75 years old. Supt. Brown-Getton inspired many of her colleagues, and young women aspired to become law enforcement officers because of her integrity and work ethics. She was an articulate stalwart who loved to serve humanity and was the recipient of numerous accolades. This affable crime fighter was the 'face and the voice of the force' in public relations, and was often called upon to mediate when there was a stand off between citizens and the police. Supt. Brown-Getton was the head of the rape unit in the 80's, and was one of Jamaica's top ranking detectives in the 70's and 80's. She will be sorely missed. May her dear soul rest in peace.

On another note: I was not aware Tony Hart passed away. I know the family very well. Tony was a good man who did a lot for Montego Bay. His wife Shelia a wonderful woman who always greet with a smile. I had the privilege of visiting their home decades ago. Very sorry to know Tony passed away.

I know these are just few of the many many more song and unsong Jamaicans who died in 2020. We remember also Sr Mary Pascal, RSM of Alpha Convent who died at the age of 102 . She was the principal of St. Catherine High School that made it into a co- ed institution, that made way for the future boys like Prime minister Andrew Holeness and Archbishop Ken Richards. And was the Local Administrator for the Sisters of Mercy in Jamaica.

Watching this video makes me more thankful to God and appreciate the fact that I am alive.2020 was rough but I made it through. Condolences to all the families who lost loved ones.
