The HP ones aren't the only wrong-backed cards. There's also cards from Fallen Empires with backs from the now-defunct Wyvern TCG. Honestly I'd much prefer those considering JK Rowling's... notoriety in recent years lol

nice to see some of my things again, The plains is stamped at the top because the sheet was fed upside down and the stamp itself was shifted slightly. The heavy Blue ink island is also one of the best examples on a basic ive seen from the set. Way more drastic in person.

I actually have a card like the Safe haven at 1:22, but the part that is missing is quite a bit smaller. And if anybody is curious, the card is Ordeal of Purphoros from the Theros set.

I had a few misprints in my original M:TG collection. Nothing since then. I even went through all my M:TG cards recently and found I had some foils I wasn't even aware of.

8:10 Those foil lands of a mountain and Island look pretty sweet. What's really weird to me about them is that they have the Unglued set symbol on them in the bottom left corner, and I recognized that the art on both is from the Nemesis card Parallax Tide.

I know a pretty funny story about those Harry Potter cards a kid back in the day opened a Scourge goblin mob starter deck and the entire thing was harry potter backing it was returned to the store owner and he sold it on eBay for 13,100$ only found one website with the story online happened in Bathurst New-Brunswick

The different boarder foil Island and Mountain had the picture of Parallax Tide from Nemesis. The foil fire City of Traitors looks like it belongs in one of those other games you do box opening of.

Was at a throne of elderaine draft and about five different misprints circulated and they weren’t like screwed up words or anything, there were giant globs of ink on the fronts, and you could feel the globes to it was crazy

My favorite misprint I've ever pulled was a non-foil pre release inscription of insight in the uncommon slot of a normal draft booster, I'm not sure what went wrong that day but it was an odd experience to say the least

Rudy there is a misprint Fling from Amonkhet my friend has that has the foiling of a Toolcraft Exemplar from Kaladesh. Really weird but unique! Also when we were drafting one time, a SPLOTCH of black ink was indented into a card. The printer gave birth or something; it was wild.

I don't have a lot of misprints, but probably my favorite is an ovalchase dragster pre-release promo, that has the pre-release stamp lined up to the roadway that the dragster is on, so it looks like it's printed on the road, instead of in the Box. Not a massive difference but, by The Coincidence of it, I've always felt it was pretty cool.

The bottom left City of Traitors kinda reminds me of the Foils from the Harry Potter card game. Similar to modern magic foils but with little star and lightning bolt holograms scattered everywhere on the card.

I have a few oddities. Off the top of my noggin a miss-cut goblin that is not centered and a extremely dark phyrexian walker. I saw quite a few back in the day like a land that was a skeleton etc… hard to trade for them though when you were looking for deck stuff. Hindsight of course…

I just pulled a flip card from Eldritch moon where the Eldrazi part on the flip side was printed in the wrong direction so you can only see a super large text box... it was the weirdest thing! I've been playing a long time and never had a misprint myself

I have a phantom nomad, original printing, where the 1 in the colorless mana symbol is shifted down left. The weird part is that's the only shifted part

I like those foiled lands with different borders for left and right, I might have to print some out for myself for commander and put the border on the right side to symbolize right handed and tapping to the right, kinda wish they did that again or at least released it to be legal for modern cards

This kind of surprised me, thinking of Magic misprints 2 cards directly come to my mind and I was quite surprised that you didn´t even had this "type" of misprint in the collection. Im talking about 2 german cards the "Herr der geplagten Skelette" aka Drudge Skeletons with a swamp picture and El-hajjáj with the warp artefact picture. Or did you just not mention them because these where quite common misprints (at least they where to me back in the days ^^)?

They print two sheets from rolls and the back and the front are printed from plates using mico for plates and if the pad is damaged you a get the English and French from the imprint on the pad. Then they come through a oven after glueing together then a stamp is put on through a roll through and then cut in sheets and onto a stack pallet that lowers as it feels then moved from there to the cutting room.
