Jacky making the point that we gotta also be in church is a great point. A pastor is important and if your pastor isn’t great, you still have the rest of the body. Like Paul’s says each member is important. You don’t go just for the pastor, there are so many people in church who can teach you and you can fellowship with. That was important.

Yes, its true that some pastors and preacher's aren't called and do great harm or they are carnal but, we the believers have to take accountability for our part too. When we read and know the word for ourselves then we are aware of the standard that God has in place. Oftentimes, we the sheep choose leadership based on culture, popularity, and tradition and none of those are qualifiers according to the word. Another danger in many churches in regards to leadership is a lack of accountability, there's no elders in place to hold leadership accountable and they are the say all be all which can lead to spiritual abuse. And lastly, Pastors are human too and susceptible to sin like every one else and we must uplift them in prayer.

Jackie, great insight and wisdom. Some of these pastors can’t lead me to a water fountain nor less an altar. The Church Green Rooms, Pastors that are bullies, and antics gotta go. Not what God, intended the church to be.

I had an Eternal experience with the Presence of the Living God one time years ago. When He showed up everything and everyone disappeared. There is no competition with Him. I only thought of Him in His presence. He is the only Star of this show called life. All things fade away when the Father or the Lord Jesus or the Spirit of the Living God shows up. Jesus in John 15 said without Me you can do nothing. I keep my eyes on my Lord’s and my Lord’s alone. The Father and Son and Holy Spirit. That’s POWER!!

Amen Jackie!! Love this conversation between y'all.❤️💥 The modern american church has been programmed to be praised for righteous living, not prepared for persecution. Pastors should be shepherds leading their flocks not celebrities entertaining goats. But unfortunately many are seeking to build their own kingdoms rather than the Kingdom of God. They are more interested in power, position, and pleasure than the presence of God. My heart breaks for the church and the amount of deception that has crept in. But remember what God's Word says, as darkness increases righteousness will increase all the more. God is allowing the deception to create a clear line between life and death. So that those who reject truth may be judged. Signs of the times. Eyes on Jesus family of God. Endure until the end.

It’s also most definitely a part of her character to be authentic in how she speaks and yet trust that the Lord will let her words fall as they may according to His will. I believe she abides in the Lord genuinely and strongly enough to do that. Sometimes we inadvertently try to monotonize Christians and make us all sound the same in the effort to please and appeal to every one. Certainly, God told us not to be a stumbling block but losing our character, that He delights in, isn’t what He meant. We must consider if we are belittling God’s ability to use us all as separate members of one body when we try to filter every word we say. I believe He uses as as the called according to His purpose to reach all whom He has called, meeting non believers or (yet to be believers 😆) where they are…(often at the well!) While wisdom and discernment are very important we must also be careful of the demands we put on each other especially when it’s a yoke we weren’t called to carry. It can turn very pharisaical.

We keep pointing fingers at pastors and not the congregation. What about churches with healthy pastors but a stubborn people? I've seen it for myself and it's sad. We need to look at ourselves as well. A pastor can't bear the weight of the work you should put in the other 6 days a week. That's why it's important to be in a bible study, small group, individual prayer time, etc. Persecution in America is different and I actually have seen it on my job.

Whew Chile the Holy Ghost in me felt deeply disturbed she said a lot of these pastors are trash!!!!! Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her ~ Ephesians 5:25 ESV We cannot have this attitude of criticism for Gods beloved church, our pastors have a role building up the body of Christ and certainly no church is perfect and there are pastors that can be renewed but we cannot be causing division within Believers! Just bc a few pastors are demonic doesnt mean we can just slander pastors even if she said "a lot" is now people hear this are going to think its okay to not go to the Fathers House which we hear often now from many BELIEVERS that they think they are "too called" or "too chosen" to go to church. You cannot disciple with a party of one. Love Jackie and I think shes got greaat theology and discernment but this comment does not lift up Jesus even if she had the right intentions. Life and death is in the power of the tongue and Jackie is not stewarding her influence well by saying our pastors at our local church are trash!

As someone who really don’t like church AT ALL! As long as the pastor/apostle isn’t causing harm to the Kingdom of God and its children, ion care! I go and read my Bible while he’s preaching. Sometimes I gain a lot from him as far as deeper understanding and sometimes he irks my last nerves 🤷🏾‍♀️ my mom is a pastor there and always do her thing but I felt rude only coming when she preached knowing that I have no church home lol.

Do you all feel that a pastor must have a shepherds heart to care for the church as he should? Or is it possible for someone to pastor if they have never had the desire to?
@SheLoveSports
@SheLoveSports 4 ай бұрын
I think they must have a shepherd’s heart. Many of the people who occupy the office of the pastor are orators and administrators but not true pastors according to the Bible. They can build and fill ministries but they are not caring for people’s souls.

What people don't know or understand is that invisible (spiritual) information that was sealed, in Rev 6,7,8,and other places like Daniel 12. Are unsealed in our day. Many things have happened already, like the end of God, utilizing these churches to save people. But don't believe me read 1stPeter 4:17. God has called the true belivers to leave the corporate churches, because they have gone their own way, they have become apostate and desolate, read Matthew 24:15. So your questions is mute and all churches null and void, now that we are in a extended period of judgement day. Please learn more at E-Bible fellowship open forums programs and studies and may God bless you.
