@@clala5793 Yep. She was an actress when she was younger, got a PhD in Neuroscience, then auditioned and got the role for Amy in TBBT. It's why Amy's a neuroscientist in the show. Johnny Galeki (Leonard) was also in an episode of Blossom, and shared quite a few scenes with Mayim.

@Smooth Move I prefer the later shows where there is more depth to the characters... Early Howard was really rather unpleasant with his constant hitting on girls and Raj too was embarrassing as when he did manage to talk to girls he made a fool of himself.

Sheldon Cooper fail. He should have corrected the statement "everyone has a different theory" to different hypothesis. While commonly misused, within science theory specifically means that something has been proved. Mr Tyson, please stand up. While the word hypothesis refers to a proposed answer that has not been proved yet. Neil, if you can do one thing, please make it a goal to fight the misuse of the word "theory." The battle against fake science is awesome, but doomed to limited effectiveness if people arent speaking the same lanuage. Bonus points if you can restore nauseous, but this one may be a lost cause. If you can't, at least I still get to laugh at everyone that says it. Personally recommended retort to "I feel nauseous" would be a long time fav "I'll go take a graval just in case then, brb."

@@hairlb7124 Really, Bernadette is a colossal bitch. She treats Howard like shit and pretty much everyone around her. She is manipulative, controlling and all around a unpleasant person. Amy is not nearly as bad as Bernadette but she is also very manipulating and controlling of Sheldon and her desperate need of Penny's affection is downright irritating. Even Penny is a bit of a bitch, she clearly doesn't really love Leonard, she settled for him after fucking every man in the state of California. She takes him for granted believing that she is the best he could ever do so she puts NO EFFORT into their relationship and bullies him at every turn.
