You should build a pair of Planer Jacks. I find them very useful on the mill.

Great lil project, might make a set one these days, sure would be helpful, you was saying your cnc'n your rotary table, to each their own guess....when see or hear cnc, tend to skip videos, just don't care for that particular game, know many things are made this way, but rather see manual milling, lathe work and surface grinding, things are just too automated as it is! But again, great video and hope this is trend you go towards this year!

You know if I made those I would lose them fast. But maybe drill a hole in the large end, and tie together with a wire/string, hang ‘em on the wall. Just an idea. Now off to the shop to make some. Thanks for sharing

Hi Lee. I was thinking that if you cut the excess off on the bandsaw, you might have enough material to make another, smaller set. I tend to horde material though, even fairly small pieces.

I used a face mill to do something similar once and never felt right about it. Should have used your method!
