You know what the crazy thing is? As of 2024 this beautiful woman singing is a proud mother of 3 with a 4th child on the way and she STILL looks just as beautiful as she did in this movie. God what I wouldn't do to just meet this gorgeous woman one day and tell her how much I love her and always loved her since the Lizzie days. She's my very first celebrity crush and I'll always be in love with her. ❤❤❤

I cant beleive critics gave this movie lousy reviews. IT WAS great and Duff did a good job at playing terri and she is a great singer.

24 years later I’m still loving this song

Foever one of my fav movies - who cares that I’m a fresh old ripe age of 42 now… this movie still makes me bawl and stand up on the furniture with a supernatural courage sobbing and belting loudly.

I lost my brother on July 30th, 2006. This song reminds me of him and the good times we shared and my memories of him! This is a VERY powerful song and will be FOREVER grateful for it!

I LOVE this movie, it’s a sad intense movie and one of Hilary Duff’s most dramatic roles she’s ever played, well actually I don’t think Hilary Duff has played a role this dramatic she did a lot of crying about the loss of her brother Paul and heartache from Jay. I think the band that’s playing with her is her actual band that she performs with in real life I recognize the base player and the drummer. Awesome movie, I just watched Raise Your Voice last night, this I think is the best scene in the whole movie. She overcomes her loss of Paul and her and Jay come together again to put on a great performance. She now knows who she wants to be.

I love that this song is open to anyone other than a brother. My mom died in a house fire 3 months ago and this hit so differently than it ever has before. This is one of my favorite movies and I always loved this song, but I never felt the kind of emotion that I just felt as I listened to it for the first time since I lost one of the most important people in my life.

I’m 28 with my own kids now and he’s in the army and I don’t see him much but I’ll never forget being 14 and putting this dvd on for us when we had a fight and we watched it together and I’ll always hold this song close to my heart because of it ❤😢

Having just lost my brother recently I related to this movie and this song more so then I ever had in the past. Because he too had also passed very unexpectedly. And I truly believe he is watching over me!

Great emotional memory

The first time I watched this movie I was 9 years old. I didn't understand the lyrics because I didn't know how to speak English since it is not my mother language. It really touched my heart because I am now 27 years old and after 18 years of completely forgetting about this song, I can finally understand the lyrics. I'm so happy because I've grown up so much. My 9 year old self would be so proud of me today.

My dad passed March 11, 2007. This song, to this day is one of many that soothed my lost soul.

I am such a crybaby. Every single time I watch this video it makes me cry. I think it’s because everyone in the audience is crying while Terri is singing, the moment I see Frances and Simon crying because their so proud of Terri that’s when the waterworks come. Frances I believe is crying because Terri is finally singing again when at the beginning of the movie she couldn’t because Paul died and she couldn’t overcome her loss for Paul. I can’t watch this video without crying but I do anyways because I love this song, it’s one of my favorite Hilary Duff songs. I like her song Come Clean from her Metamorphosis album.
