@@thewanderer4336 those two stories you mentioned were part of the same arc, and can be boiled down to just a bunch of fighting, either on sakaar or in New York, the most character development that happens is hulk’s pregnant wife dies which makes hulk angry, and angry hulk is not exactly a new and interesting concept.

@@Protector2015 No, they haven’t. Banner literally converses with him in Infinity War and Banner talks about him like a separate person, such as in The Avengers’ famous lab scene. The Hulk was accidentally created as a second person in Bruce’s body as side effect of the gamma radiation explosion. Banner and Hulk have the same situation as Caitlin Snow and Killer Frost. Frost was a side effect of Thomas Snow’s experiments on his daughter. He performed these experiments as an attempt to cure Caitlin of the disease they share which is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS). Killer Frost is a completely separate identity from Caitlin Snow, and as proof of it ****[SPOILER FOR THE FLASH CW TV SHOW - Frost eventually gets her own body, separate from Caitlin’s - SPOILER FOR THE FLASH CW TV SHOW].**** Banner and Hulk do not share memories, nor do Caitlin and Frost. @@LopezCreations He also technically doesn't exist in the same universe... yet... but is aware of all the movies because of his 4th Wall Breaking, like he literally called out the fact that Cable and Thanos have the same actor in Deadpool 2 even though he's never met Thanos. Plus Once Upon a Deadpool directly calls out Disney buying Fox and he did a video talking to Korg about how to get into the MCU so he is aware of those movies even if he's never met those characters. But the spell wouldn't have effected him anyway since he isn't in the same universe. Doctor Strange's spell only effects the people in the MCU knowing that version of Peter Parker.

Hulk didn’t meet Peter, Hulk was off world. When he came back he came back in the form of Bruce to warn people Thanos was coming. Even Bruce didn’t get to meet Peter until Endgame as Peter went into space during the fight against Thanos’ men, then got dusted on Titan.

They literally show you Hulk standing right behind Peter. And to think they wouldn’t talk at a funeral is crazy because Peter who made it appointment to always introduce himself to fellow Avengers by his actual name, would obviously know who Hulk is and start a conversation, and they both have Tony in common one as a peer and the other as a mentor so it makes perfect sense. Professor Hulk is also smart enough to know something is off if he can’t remember the kids name at the funeral he was talking too.

I was thinking the same thing. Specially in Multiverse of Madness we see him recalling Spider-Man, but no mention of name drop. So he does remember something, just if he recalls if its Peter is unsure. Plus we don't know exactly how the spell works if it alters physical things like photos. We just know it affects parts of the memory. Since also MJ still has on the necklace and at the end we see her kind of feeling something familiar about Peter, but unsure. Just given facial expressions. So I do think Strange re-wrote the spell with a contingency plan in mind.

Something I remember picking up on watching NWH the first time, is that they specifically say “nobody on earth will remember you’re Peter Parker” That WOULD mean that Nick Fury and Captain Marvel who weren’t on earth would remember him too

Nope. The purpose of the spell was to make people forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man in EVERY UNIVERSE. Then why would it only be limited to planet earth. I think that line just means that barely anyone in space knows about Peter Parker being Spider-Man.

@@scrrin the first spell accidently spread to the multiverse causing anyone who knew peter parker was spiderman to travel to the mcu. Essentially the mcu was the target because they sent the spell out like a signal saying "If you know this man is spiderman then come here". the second spell removed peter's existence from everyones memory in the mcu. effectively removing the target of the first spell. its like saying "If you know who this man is then come here" but then pointing to nobody. by removing the target of the original spell it sends everyone back, and strange then only has to clean up the small holes left behind from the few people who did manage to slip through.

Yes I agree also. I have been saying this to my family and friends as well. Finally glad someone else remembers this too. You see the spell cover Earth not the universe. So with that also Captain Marvel remembers him too from Endgame and also Tobey and Andrew Spidermans because they are in a different universe along with their rival counterparts. Maybe even including Thor depending on the actual time this took place because he was in space doing things and was with the Guardians for a small bit.

The point is that the spell made them forget that Spider-Man and Peter Parker are the same person. That was why the end of the movie had Jameson calling for Spider-Man to unmask. Everyone who fought with Spider-Man in Endgame didn't suddenly forget he was there, they would just no longer remember him from Tony's funeral.

yeah as in Wong was saying "I don't want to know about any spell you cast." he wasn't saying don't include me in the spell. you really think Dr Strange was going to erase the memories of everyone in the world, including himself, but he's going to leave Wongs memories alone? nah man.

The only person who remember is dr strange I think. However I think dr strange cant unlock the memories he erased of the people who were close to peter such as peter and ned. My theory is when professor x is introcuded he will help the people who were close to peter remember that he is also spiderman. We seen him unlock wolverine memories in the X-Men Movies.

Although they have only briefly met in the MCU, on screen anyway, Thor wouldn’t be under the effects of the spell because he wasn’t on Earth during this time. Also, the Guardians should remember him as well due to bing in space also.

They erased the memories of the people within planet EARTH, not the universe, that means people who were off world (fury, Guardians of the galaxy, captain Marvel etc.........) and also Sorcerer supreme still remembers, because a sorcerer who is not sorcerer supreme cannot wipe the memories of the actual sorcerer supreme (only Wong can do that to other sorcerers), so that means Wong, never forgot about Peter

Wrong. They erased Peter's existence from the minds of everyone, all universes even. Otherwise it wouldn't have fixed the fact that people who knew that Peter Parker was Spider-Man were drawn into their universe and to their earth. Strange basically Thanos snapped Peter from everyone's minds.

@@Nerex7 The effect wasn't universal, it was planetary, so that means Nick Fury, Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, Guardians of the galaxy, Wong and Tobey Maguire/Andrew Garfield spidermen still remember Peter park, Wong remembers because the sorcerer supreme is placed higher than all the other sorcerers, so if a normal sorcerer attacks him, that attack won't hurt him as much as it will a normal sorcerer but if a spell or curse or any attack that is used to mettle with his mind is used against him by a lesser sorcerer (normal sorcerer), it will not work on the sorcerer supreme, but he can do it to them, the sorcerer supreme is invulnerable to the normal sorcerers, and the normal sorcerers are vulnerable to the sorcerer supreme. Wong also gave us a hint in She-Hulk, he said to Jennifer "No no no, we are not erasing everyones memories, no not again"

Then how come it stopped everyone from being dragged into the dimensions if it was only limited to the planet? That just makes no sense. I can get behind there being exceptions but overall, everyone forgot the existence of that Earth's Peter Parket across all universes. Otherwise it wouldn't have solved the problem. @@Sylence_165

MJ is going to have feelings for Spiderman. MJ will also have feelings for Peter. Peter is going to push things in the hopes of MJ will figure things out. Happy may also pick up on the connection he has with Peter at May's grave. I also wonder if Captain Marvel might be strong enough to over come Doctor Strange's spell and remember Peter as Spiderman.

I am not sure about hulk. But spoilers.... LOKI since at the end for Loki s2 he was so powerful that he gave life to all those timelines and he is at the center of everything. So my theory is that Loki will know Peter is spiderman. But he has never met him.

Problem with this is that the MCU has basically erased the “hulk” personality with Professor Hulk. She-Hulk made it pretty clear that Banner is 100% still himself when he transforms now

Comics did the same thing, but Hulk came back. He'll probably be back at some point. Aren't they planning a World war hulk movie? Hulk has a few different personalities. Maybe we'll get a movie with Maestro as a villain at some point.

The weird thing is, everyone forgot peter is spiderman, but didnt forget spiderman. The remaining Avengers still remember him, they remember fighting with him (and against) in Germany, and they remember fighting with him against Thanos both times. If he went to one of them they would know him, they just would not know who he is under the mask.

I really liked that they gave Hulk more depth than just anger. Like I loved Ragnarok Hulk that had actual discussions and stuff and a personality that could joke around sometimes. But then Marvel decided to just entirely go overboard and replace all that growth with just deleting hulk and letting Bruce fully take over.

“It’s possible”. Says a lot. 😃 Great theory on the Hulk form VS Bruce Banner. I like that. Back in the Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno Hulk show, many times “David Banner” didn’t remember anything that his Hulk persona did. It’d be interesting to see that happen after Doctor Strange’s spell. 🙂

Also in the end of spiderman no way home when peter is at aunt Mays grave, he sees happy and tells him he knows her through spiderman, and happy said he did too. So happy must know that Peter Parker is spiderman because how else would you know peters only living relative if he didn't know peter was spiderman

I have a theory. So you remember how when in the beginning of the movie Doctor Strange was talking to Wong he said: "do you remember that party" and Wong said "no" but doctor strange still remember the party because he casted the spell! and he also casted this spell so he probably remembers Peter!
