Someone stole my video, now people think it’s real.

This is not a video that I was planning on making, also Incase smittys super service station sees this video, I’m not mad, I can understand someone thinking that the video is the real commercial, but can you please credit me in the description, I have currently seen 3 reuploads of my video claiming to be the found lost commercial and not a single video has said that I am the person that made the animation, I spent a lot of time and hard work to make this video and I did not expect to see my video get stolen and reposted claiming to be real, I do not want this to effect the actual search for the real commercial.
All scanned animation cels are from Smitty’s super service’s collection.

I commented on the video stating the video was yours and we are super impressed with the work you did to create that commercial with what we did actually have! I'd suggest contacting those at Smittys' to maybe inform them that the video isn't the ACTUAL FOUND commercial.

I saw your recreation and I say. You made an amazing recreation. While the actual commercial itself is still needs to be discovered. I say you made an amazing recreation of what could have been. While yes it's lame that people stole your fake ad. You should give yourself credit for being able to fool someone to begin with. I believe we should still look for and preserve the real commercial. I think you made an amazing mockup. Preservation is very important and even if this is only a what if. It would be amazing to have the real commercial and this fan mock up fused together with what is available.

showed your video to my fiancee and even she thought it was real. and you really did an amazing job on the animation. if that many people were thinking it's real that is a compliment to your work though I hope the real footage is found one day.

I love your Commercial Reimagining Of The Original Lost Commercial From The Late 70’s but hopefully the original version or any footage could be found soon and that if it won’t probably be found then I’ll be upset because I would like to see the original version when they find it…

I genuinely feel terrible for you man. You're an absolutely incredible artist and... well... animator! You animated something! I'm also an artist, but I can't say that I exactly can animate. I'm proud that you made this, it's incredible work, and I think you deserve so much better than to have it stolen. Hell, it was so good that the original cel owner actually thought this was real. Regardless of it, you didn't deserve to have your hard work stolen. Keep up the amazing work, and I'm glad you read my comment! Stay strong man, and I believe in you to do more and get more completed! I'm proud of you, and I cannot be more sorry about how they treated your recreated commercial.

@@Smg-500Actually, we do (kinda) and at least one person who worked on the commercial. Someone noticed that the artstyle of the commercial looked similar to the “Rat Tales” comics. The artist who worked on the comic was Lee Marrs, someone was able to get into contact with her. Lee confirmed that she worked on the storyboards for the commercial, though she couldn’t find anything she had from the commercial. She also confirmed that a company named “(Colossal) Pictures” worked on the commercial.
