I was asking myself the same thing , why this song is no famous ,why it didn't launch the top chart ,and mostly where is aly michalka now ,why she disapears , always ask myself there are so many talented people that made some amazing songs but after that their fame gone with wind , nowdays we only find pop music dominating , singers that do good music but not as this one are famous like hell , why this talented singers like aly disapears ?

@@naomilee8524 I think I have an answer my thought is triggered by a video on a channel called inside the score and the video is about the disappearance of melody in both pop music and classical music. In classical music atonal music became THE THING in the 20th century and in pop music in the last 25 years rap , hip - hop , grunge , and techno have triumphed. There aren't many songs in the Zeitgeist that are like Rogers and Hammerstein songs, , Lennon and McCartney songs, simon and Garfunkel songs, Cat Stevens songs sarah mclachlan songs, Sheryl Crow songs , Motown songs , james Taylor songs and Carol king songs, etc. Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars are great , great songwriters but they just cant compete with the newer genres.
