It's been ages since I did anything with an Arduino so I wanted to see what I could do with a couple of mini servos and some "Jumping Jack" Christmas tree ornaments.
Basically, the two "soldiers" jump around erratically but occasionally they will each do some "star jumps" (of a sort!). After completing the star jumps there is a pause and then they start again.
The Arduino is powered by a 9 volt battery and the servos have a separate 6 volt supply (4 x AA batteries).
It took me a while to get all the nested loops and "IF" statements working correctly - those " { } " brackets caused me a lot of grief! But eventually it all came together.
In time I will probably add some more "dance routines" but for now just happy to see them jump about a bit.
