My husband had the same thing between his toes. The doctors kept saying that it was foot fungus, but the meds didn’t help. I bought a paraffin wax machine from Amazon, actually for myself, but he started using it and it worked. It healed up. When he stopped doing it, the skin splitting came back. It’s not a medication, it’s natural , so not going to interfere with anything else you’re doing.

You expressed how you are dealing with your grief so well. I lost my husband less than a month ago, and I was in a manic "get everything done" phase at first. Now I have slowed down and I'm also opening up and reaching out to the people in my life who have been so supportive. I have already donated some of his clothes because I plan to move within the year. We have to remember that possessions are not the person. I plan to keep a few things, of course, but the most important thing to hold on to are the good memories in my heart and mind. Free therapy session here, lol! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I'm proud of you. It is something that not much people understand. I guess everyone deals with their loss different, but you are so brave. At the end, the memories are the ones that keep us alive.

It might be ringworm...a skin fungus. My doctor prescribed Clotrimazole cream, and it really helps. OTC would be something like Lotrimin [for athlete's foot].

It sounds like housewife eczema. The first level of your skin has lost the protective oils. This happened to me because I washed dishes with Tide because that was the only detergent we had. There is a prescription cream that will heal it. Until you get that, put vaseline on your skin at bedtime and wear cotton gloves.😍

I have that issue. What I found that helps me tremendously is a treatment that my sweet husband found. A cup of vinegar , cup of hot water and a cup of clear listerine. Soak them for about 15-20 minutes. It works better than medicines. It sounds like eczema and stress makes it better. Steroids are so bad for your heart

When you said that wearing the gloves, was new, it could be that. Check if they are latex. A latex allergy gets worse the more you are exposed to it. Good luck to you on finding a solution and quick healing.🙂

I am not a doctor at all, but my first thought was that it sounds like athlete’s foot. I don’t even know if that’s something you can get on your hands, but especially when you talked about wearing the cleaning gloves (moist and warm perhaps) that’s what it reminded me of. That could also explain why the ointments didn’t work. Like, maybe you need an anti fungal instead. I don’t know. My daughter is allergic to dogs. She breaks out in hives though. Also, check with your psychiatrist to see if it could be a side effect of one of your meds??? I wish you the best!

SELF COMPASSION is so important...I'm learning how to embrace it too! 😘🤗 Possibly eczema & stress can trigger it/make it worse! Try limiting hot water which can exacerbate it too. I speak from personal experience...& ironically I have a current systemic rash/flare-up & just started(yesterday) a short course of oral Prednisone/steroid since topical creams & oral antihistamines weren't controlling it this time. I APPRECIATE YOU sharing what you're going thru & it's OK to take care of yourself, & if that means changing up your videos & schedule that's OK too!! ❤ P.S. I use the blue/Nitrile gloves...hypoallergenic, a bit more expensive but well worth it! 😉💙🧤

Bandaid may be making it worse. If u are open to it, if it was me I'd try tea tree oil in a bit of coconut oil. Both kill fungus. At night I would use a whipped tallow cream to heal.

You can't be allergic to someone so cute! It is impossible!!!!!! Anyway, my girlfriend gets a lot of splits on her fingers and thumbs. She works at FedEx and is handling a lot of cardboard and paperwork at her job and we think that's the issue there. We like to use that Working Hands stuff because hers is mostly dryness related, so not sure if that would work for you or not. I LOVE YOU PIP

Sounds like eczema to me as well. My sister suffered most of her life with it. You might want to try soaking your hands in an Oatmeal bath. You can use Quaker Oaks or the pharmacy sells Oatmeal products as well. Glad you are listening to yourself. Take care sweetheart. Hugs from Southern California.

Take a daily allergy pill like Claritin or Zyrtec. I've been a nurse for 16 years and have seen those type of pills prescribed for skin rashes before. An allergy can just seem to just come out of nowhere! I've also been in long term care for 22 years and wearing gloves all those years and the best I've found is just the mckesson powder free one and done gloves. And good for you on recognizing your mental health needs! I'm so proud of you and you are definitely inspiring others!

My hands have done the same, I’ve always had issues with severe dry skin. But recently I could not get my hands to heal. After a few months I figured out it was WAY worse after using Bath and Body Works lotions! I don’t know if they changed or I did, I have auto immune issues as well. I hope you find what the culprit is!! Healing vibes. 💜💜💜

Hi get an aloe vera plant and put some on the slimy stuff on it. I just went through a few things that I didn’t understand about. But I definitely decided that I will not think about my problems. I’m just not going to waste my time or energy to try to figure it out. I just let God take care of it. But yes if you’re mind and heart is telling you no then don’t do it and just be happy and positive about yourself. You are so important. I hope you’re not allergic to pippa. . I'm allergic to cats. I get really bad flu symptoms, my eyes get itchy. The worst part is if I pet the cat, my hand starts to itch. In my case I have skin problems, like eczema, so I don't know if that cause my skin rash. I also read that, the cat food can be the problem. Some of the chemicals they use in the foood are the ones causing the allergy. So you might want to do research on the food that pipp is eating.

I believe it may be possibly a skin ulcer. I get it on my leg whenever I am stressed. Be patient. See a Dermatologist asap. I am allergic t cats and dogs. I have 2 cats. You just need to make sure the hair is cleaned up and try not to have the dog lick you. I trained my cats since day 1 not to jump on my lap and sleep on my bed. I have had my oldest cats since she was 6 months old and she is now 13 years old. My kitten/cat is 3 years old now. It could also be something as simple as the dog food or perhaps the toys. Get new toys and change the dog food (slowly - as recommended) for the dog. Take warm baths with soft salts. Try Aloe Vera plant. Fresh pure aloe may also help. Being around something you are allergic to for long periods of time can led to depression. However, animals also help with depression and anxiety. It's hard to really say if it is an allergic reaction. My recent diagnosis of a leg ulcer took over 15 years. I am in Canada where the Healthcare is free. I just never had a family Doctor who cared before. I never really took note of it until about 2 years ago. NOW - it's too late and this is something I have to live with. I may not be allowed to roller skate ever again because of this. I hope you get the answers you are looking for my dear and you have a quick diagnosis with a cure. Good luck to you.

I have two suggestions; For your hands, I had the same exact thing for years. I went to Dr after Dr and tried every cream they make and nothing really "cured" it. When they dont know what it is, they call it eczema lol. Unrelated, I went on a low carb diet for my auto immune RA to see if the anti inflammatory eating would help my condition. I ate 20 or less total carbs a day. Not only did my RA respond wonderfully, my hands completely cleared up. Then I met my husband who had the same condition on his hands but it was on his palms and much more severe than mine was. I put him on low carb eating too and it has cleared up. We have never had a problem with it again, after eating low carb for like a year. We dont eat low carb anymore but it has never come back. My 2nd suggestion is for your puppys accidents; By dog diapers/belly bands. So much easier than having to clean up the messes and the dog. It may also have something to do with your skin condition using all the harsher chemicals and dealing with his pee/poop etc.

My son gets that on his hands. For him it has been diagnosed as a form of eczema (I don't know what kind specifically, he is an adult and goes by himself, ha ha, not even does his wife go with him), but he was told it is somehow tied in with his history of asthma (he would get it on his hands when he was a kid). He was prescribed a cream white cream which helps ..... I think he said it is a steroid of some sort. It works for him.

Hi Kieren, I just watched at first today on 6/14 your current video of you making yiur cooking racks organizer and i am so excited to have thst idea. Then i wanted to watch one of your older videos and one popped up from 6 years ago when you had 19 inches off your hair. I couldn't believe tge timing as I wenr yesterday hours before my Dad's 86th bday party to have a drastic hair cut. I have my salon girls schedule and i have on my phone the pixie style I wanted. My girl was not there and I thiught ok i will come back another time. I finally had tge nerve being on vac to have it done. One woman said i can do that for you. 30 min later she said ok time for blow dry. I asked if sge is going to cut more after a blow dry. She said no she was done. I sad i still have 10 inches of hair on my head all the layering was suppose to be only 2 inches all over. I started to get upset and asked to see the mgr. She said she wasn't there. I asked her to get someone else to cut ny hair. Luckily tge crowd had left tge women came over and no one could do that style. I hadn't had bangs for 5 years had grien thrm out to match the other length. I pulled up the hair style I wanted from the Hair Cuttery website and i wanted that style for a long time. My dept has no AC and i get tired of putting it in a French twist. My crooked teeth have been bothering me greatly but they cannot be changed financially at this time . The top of my hair is all mouse gray lije my Mom's was all mouse gray and when i walk by the mirror and looked quick in it the other morning leaving for work it was so strange but i looked like my Mom in her French twist and i started to cry. She use to say years and years ago before she passed away she wanted to see me in short hair and i never budged. Than covid hit our area and the salons closed. I would go for trims. I always cut my own bangs for years. Then during covid my Mom was diagnosed with Pancratic Cancer. A woman who never had headaches never colds never tge flu, only had bad knees but still walked one mile every other day in the hilly neighborhood. One morning she was looking at my hair at breakfast but she never said a word. I thiught of what she said 20 years plus ago but i didnt bring it up. When she took her nap i washed my hair in tge kitchen sink not to disturb her in the bathroom next to her bedroom. I brushed it out straight and tip toed back into the bathroom. My sewing sissors were washed and sharpened. I laid clean copy paper in the bathriom sink. I cut 15 inches off. I do not know how do do a shorter style but gave myself a Bob. I carefully carried the hair in the paper into the kitchen and kept them long and straight. The gray is onmy on the top not on what i cut off. I out it into a zip lock bag rolled up tight once the hair dried and sent it to Locks Of Love. I styled my hair with a few curls and i was on the back porch reading when my Mom smelled the coffee perking on the stove and she was saying walking into the kitchen how she was hoping i would make a 3pm pot again. Then she walked out and looked at me and her eyes got big and she had a huge smile. She said i was beautiful and i did a super job. I took selfies as i went. She couldnt believe how much i cut off. She said it was perfectly even. She asked of i threw it away and i said no im sending it to Locks Of Love. She asked if she could have a little bit to put into her Bible so i said sure. Her Bible is with her. She is buried in Woodbridge, NJ where she grew up. This past Wed i watched you for the first time and you were organizing your Mom's craft supplies, beads etc and i wondered if your Mom had passed away but i didnt ask. I went to see if your on instagram to DM you but then i didn't not to upset you incase your Mom was still living but went away for a bit. Now on this video you mentuoned how to find your instagram so i will chrck out your site. I am greatly sorry for your Moms passing. Its tge worst death i have ever been thru my grandma 2nd and a fiance in 2007 passed away the day after playing 2 basketball games back to back on his team. But loosing my Mom and her type of cancer was never detected until she was stage 4. She had a full physical before having her cataracts done and all ger blood work was great. I had only moved in with her 4 months before we were saving for a trip to Ireland and Hungary. I have doen sized all i coukd of my own things and i have kept a lot of my Moms because all are treasurers. I lnow exactjy how you feel. I shall close but what yoi have on your hands maybe from tge felt in the gloves you clean up after your little one. Also i had too many strawberries tge other day and my both hands are all broken out in painful transparent blisters. As our bodies change and pollution and all the additives in foods now it adds havic to our life. My uncle has exactly what you have and the dr said its from him peeling oranges and holding slices of pizza tfe flower on the crust . I will keep tou in my prayers and i will floow you on instagram.. i have mikkions of typos and i try to catch them all but ir becomes fatiguing. The letters are starting to go on my phone. My phone is very old but, not in the budget to reolace yet. Blessings, Rebekah in VA

@Myeverydaywifelife
@Myeverydaywifelife Ай бұрын
Here is what I found about that: The connection between gluten and eczema is controversial, and researchers aren't sure how gluten affects eczema. Some studies have not shown that gluten causes eczema, while others have found that gluten can trigger flares for some people with the condition. For example, people with celiac disease, an autoimmune disease that causes gluten sensitivity, may experience rashes and worse eczema when they eat gluten. However, a 2020 study found no link between gluten intake and eczema.

Kieren, dear. I am sorry for all the life upheaval you have had recently. I know you are a committed Weight Watcher, but I wonder if many of your issues might clear up if you (oh, man, this will be hard for a low-fat eater to accept) went CARNIVORE. Seriously, this is not a new diet, there is a wealth of research into it. Plus, it is reported to be very, very good for mental troubles. I don't expect for you to listen to a stranger for medical advice, but if you find yourself with a few minutes free time (hee!) start noodling around and see what the experts have to say about a meat-based diet. My best to you whether or not you investigate.

Allergies come in 7 year cycles. Just because you haven't been allergic to your dog before doesn't mean you can't be now. Also stress is a major factor with your skin. When my skin flares up from something and then I stress about it, it becomes worse. The only thin I have found that works is menthol cream and steroids. Hope you feel better soon x
