Daddy always loved leather britches he made a big drying rack out of 1x1 boards and window screen and would lay it in the front seat of his truck in the sun all day to dry his out

Great way to store bean for winter!! Nanny always talked about them. Her days she canned them but they take up space!! The best gifts are the homemade ones! Beautiful urn! I know they appreciated the gift!

Lost my grandfather’s brother uncle Terrel last week- he was 95 years old and from eastern Kentucky. I’m sad I wasn’t able to make it to the funeral because, as you said, it’s an opportunity to see extended but distant family members who are in our hearts.

I have made many of those. Some for people we don't even know and they always offer to pay but I can't make myself charge and add to more grief to the family than they already have. Sometimes it's just feels good to do stuff just cause you want to. Would love to share ideas with you and plans.
