In this timeline, Michael doesn’t give a single damn about Laurie. In a way, Laurie is the one obsessed. The only reason he and her crossed paths towards the end was the doctor bringing him to her.

Do you know how long I have been trying to get people to realize how bad that story pot is. I don't understand how people see this movie and find its story plot acceptable. It has the worst story plot that I have ever seen and I seen some bad story plots.

This one ignores all the sequels after the first Halloween, and that's what I love about it since it fixes the previous mistakes made in the sequels.

The only sequels I liked after the original are the original sequel 1981, Halloween 4 but the mask is awful and H20.

@@connorredshaw7994 The H4 mask looked EXACTLY like the OG mask. It was painted wrong so the idiots working the movie painted them too thick with white spray paint and lost all the features of the OG mask.

"He's just killing people. Why?" In the original film, Michael and Laurie weren't related, he was just a man in a mask that stumbled upon a teenager and her friends. This film kind of goes back to that, where he's just a shape moving through the night, killing people in their homes. That's what I've always found so scary about Michael compared to the likes of Jason or Freddy.

@@donnybuoy I really enjoyed H20. I consider it one of the better movies from the franchise, despite the confusing title (I still think a lot people don’t realize it’s ‘Halloween: 20 years later’)

In this timeline, only the first movie happened. Michael was arrested soon after Loomis shot him six times. Course the problem I do have is how much of an extremist Laurie has been the past 40 years. They're not siblings, and Laurie didn't go through much compared to what additionally happened in Halloween 2. It's why I prefer how she's written in the seventh film.

Naaa man, she didn't go through H2, but normal people can become like her from ONE traumatic experience. You act like most of your friends, and you discovering their bodies, AND Laurie almost getting killed by a nutjob is nothing lol. On top of the fact he didn't die to where she can relax, she knows he's only locked up, and from I bet loomis kept in contact with her and made her realize what he is solidified in her mind that she has to get ready because he will escape eventually. People go through a hell of a lot less and get PTSD. You act like going through another chase in a hospital in H2 would have made her the way it is, but the shit that happened in H1 is nothing LOLOL

@@punkem733 I agree with this 100% .. My mother was almost killed by her ex but not before he murdered her dog and her one of my mothers friends who was helping her pack up her belongings in this was before I was born, 30 years later she still has PTSD from that situation.

This Halloween is my favorite of the franchise aside from the 1978 original and H2 from 1981. I loved how the film showed what PTSD could do to a person and it brought Michael back to his roots of being scary and mysterious, not a child from a broken home.

Absolutely! Makes you wonder, if the British couple never came, would Michael still want to break out and kill? Also what kept him from not killing anyone at the hospital? Hmmm.

@@SomethingCinema well it seems like from the comic book series that is supposed to follow Halloween and the sequels is that when he was in the hospital people got hurt and or killed but it's only because they was messing with him. Only problem the series the original timeline (not the second timeline or any other one) they made it into a curse making the comics null and void. Now I want to know what Judith Myers did to him in order for that to happen because we now know that he doesn't do nothing without a reason.

@@SomethingCinema they always try to make books and comics and diaries out of certain people so it can explain all the f*ckups in the film or or a time period that was not explained. Also it helps with the money flow just in case if the movie had poor sales

Great reactions and post dialogue. I LOVE this movie (It's one of the first 4k films I ever purchased, lol, well worth it). And that little boy Julian was my favorite in this film as well. Couple interesting things. The woman killed by the knife in the neck was PJ Soles who played Linda in the original. And the dollhouse in Laurie’s house was a replica of the Myer’s house.

Fun Fact: This Halloween is a 40 year timeline, making it ignores all the others except Halloween 1978. And some cast memebers from from the 78 Halloween makes a guest appearance, especially in Halloween Kills.

At the end where Laurie goes into the room of mannequins to check if Myers is in the house, pay attention to it, and the layout is the exact same as the bedroom in H78. Yes they were gonna do a flashback to 78 and show Myers getting caught, but carpenter told them don't do that. So they used the bedroom as just a room in laurie's house. That was built to be the bedroom from 78. They do the flashback in the new film and it might be some of the best parts of it. When you're taught to shoot you go for center mass, the chest. Head shots are super hard, and it's not a video game. Shit there was a case with cops having a shootout with two bros, several cops and the bros shot like over 100 rounds from 20 feet away from each other no one was hit.

I really want you guys to react to the Halloween 2007 and 2009 1 and 2 by Rob zombie I promise you won’t be disappointed. It goes back to when he was a kid and shows everything how he did it very detailed up until he got older both movies are great! Those movies, in my opinion were better remakes then the most recent. From the old franchise timeline my favorite is Halloween H20. But I do love this 2018 direct sequel reboot timeline. Really hope the 3rd movie - Halloween Ends, we’ll get in the future, gets an Endgame treatment. Final bow down, final goodbye for Laurie Strode/Jamie Lee Curtis.

You should definitely watch Halloween Kills soon. I won't spoil the movie for you, but MY GOSH, Michael Myers went crazy on the kills!! The Story was great, the score was amazing, and etc. You have to watch it soon, I'll guarantee you'll like it.

The Doctor: "What was the word?" Allyson: "FUCK!" Hated how robotic Michael is in this trilogy lol. Aaron, the British reporter, was rumored to be in the third one since he's the one who awaken Michael with the mask. I hope so. What if Laurie was the one who ran the bus down in order to kill Michael herself? Michael killed the Doctor before focusing on Allyson because the Doctor basically insulted him touching his mask and doing shit with him lmfao. So of course he'd be the first to go when he'd wake up. He was pissed.

Did yall miss Micheal arriving at the gas station?? 👀 When they busy checking the engine he pulls up next to them, then you see him walking in the background, dressed all in white. Also you can see him killing a dude in the workshop when that reporter is looking for the loo.

Tbh Michael myers version (Rob Zombie) looks like a wrestler mixed with boxing experience and doesn't take no hate from people and if he use his fists instead of his weapon in the movie he would use the people elbow DDT Attitude Adjustment and more and probably killed them by threw through a story window and lifting them like nothing and I'm not square up with him either you run or you meet your fate and I'm not saying nothing mean about him 👀👀👀
