From "Anglo Concertina in the Harmonic Style" by Gary Coover, p.100. One of the greatest movie songs of all time, this Academy Award winner was written by Harold Allen and Yip Harburg for the 1939 film classic "The Wizard of Oz" to be sung by a very young and very talented Judy Garland. Sure, I could have played this on a duet concertina instead, but it's much more challenging to make it work within the limitations of a C/G 30-button Anglo that has different notes pushing and pulling.
Astute listeners will notice a little tribute to Eva Cassidy's amazing version of this song!

I really thank you that you arranged this tune for Anglo concertina. When I began to play (self- learning) concertina , I didn't think I become to be able to play this tune..... but finally , now I enjoy playing this lovely tune ! I'm so happy !

Would you by chance have the music for the outro available to share? Your rendition here is beautiful, but the version in your book just ends with the repeat of the A part.

@@kermitfroggie5334 The numbers refer the Anglo button numbers on page 7, so figure out the note names and which direction, and then see what works with the English. Good luck - I'd like to hear how it turns out since I've never tried it on my English concertina!

It's an accordion-reeded Anglo made by the late Harold Herrington in 1990.

Yes, it has 15 buttons on each side, in the key of C/G.
