The top item on my wish list is to hear Lucy sing live. I am in Australia and it will be worth every mile traveled to realise my ambition. I think Lucy is the best singer on the planet today and every song Lucy sings tells a story. It is a privilege to be able to associate, on KZfaq, with such a nice group of supporters that Lucy attracts too.

This is the kind of song that I feel like if a person could master the tempo, the tonal and emphasis nuances as a singer, you’re officially a master. I feel like Lucy’s rendition is so beautifully clean. If a perfect template of this song exists for singers, it’s here.

I’ve watched every video this young lady has put out, this one many times. I have yet to find a flaw, anything off, with her performances. Perfect every time. Still can’t understand why she is not at the top of every chart around the world.

John, as an American, Lucy is the best solo performer I have ever heard and you can simply check out my thousand or so comments I have made about the 'magic' of Lucy Thomas and so forth; I have run out of positive adjectives to describe both Lucy and her sister, Martha! What really separates Lucy from anyone else is her emotions, passion, and empathy she displays is simply uncanny; she interprets the songwriter's initial intentions behind the lyrics and then we experience what Lucy interprets and eases into our heart and soul and takes us away for a tranquil ride into pure harmonic bliss..........

I have been watching a lot of brilliant singing talent on KZfaq for many years. When Lucy popped up in my recommendations, I stopped what I was doing, put the HQ speakers on and was lost in what can only be described as singing perfection... I have never heard anything close to this. What a mind blowing talent. To think I had no idea about her till that happened!

Once in a blue moon, and from a Moon River, a prodigy is born to enhance our lives. After watching her career from the audition on the Voice until now, I'm still in awe. Few artists reach such perfection. Not only with her voice, but with her eyes she expresses the lyrics like a storybook. Adorable and with a reflection of innocence unseen today. This truly is a blessing to our world and I'm grateful each time she performs. To God be the glory for giving us this prodigy.

@@anthonyl.6879 Would you say the same if she was ugly… Her voice is amazing I agree, and she is stunningly beautiful, but if she were plain then she might not get the same accolades. Have you heard of Mini Ripperton? She had an an extraordinary voice but on the looks side of things was not at all attractive. She even sang about it. It is easy to love the beautiful or perfect. But it takes special ability and strength to love that which is mediocre and plain. People say, “I love your beautiful house”, but I say “you have a beautiful garage door”

I hope you get to see this reply to my comment the Manchester concert was a triumph for Lucy and 2 songs with Martha . it could not have been better Lucy was outstanding with every song and because the audience did not know Martha was going to be there she got a standing ovation when she came on and another when she and Lucy sang tThe Prayer. i got my photo taken with Lucy at the meet and greet which will always live in my mind. the best night of my very long life

I hope she keeps her head screwed on tight and doesn’t go crazy like so many great entertainers - such a heady world to live in when your revered everywhere you go. Hopefully she will marry a cpa or a dentist rather than another artist -- and live a normal personal life so the world can enjoy her talent for decades. Having this kind of talent and Beauty together can often become a curse so easily. Think of all the great female singers destroyed by their own talent.

Cristino; agree 100%! So many people will say, "It's Barbra, she's a legend.......no one can match Barbra!!" Well, yes, Barbra is a legend and a fantastic performer, no doubt! But one must get past the 'legend' label and you'll see that Lucy has much deeper vocals, better tone, much better pitch and far superior vibrato to Barbra, or anyone else, for that matter! Lucy handles those high notes and registers with ease; perfect pitch, tone, and outstanding vibrato, whereas Barbra does have some pitch issues and struggles a little bit with the higher registers!

Keep in mind, folks, its not just her stunning voice........its the presentation as well.................her facial expressions, eye movements, body language, coupled with that raw, powerful, but controlled fire and passion she sings with, all tap into one's heart, mind, and soul........and takes you for a ride, maybe just for a few minutes.......

Absolutely this, the most beautiful aspect of Lucy's music is just that "the music" because of her remarkable and exceptionally good voice, too many Pop singers today are all style and no substance. Fortunately for Lucy she has both, she's jaw droppingly beautiful but remains humble and dignified and doesn't require flaunting cleavage around to grab people's attention, her soulful eyes and emotive expressions as she sings straight from the depths of her heart do all the talking and bewitch the listener. An enchanting young lady with a huge career ahead of her, the sky really is no limit where Lucy is concerned ❤ she has such a beautiful soul and will I'm certain go down as one of the greatest singers not only of her generation but that the UK and indeed the world has ever produced.

Please be kind, little Ms Thomas and just keep pumping out these classics, and maybe even some modern show songs! Your voice and presentation is Tony or Olivier Quality! IMHO, of course! if you are a member of the Lucy THomas fan club you will get all the information you need . it was the most amazing night i have ever experienced . the voice was supreme on every song . standing ovations throughout and 2 with Martha again standing ovation for Martha i think because nobody in the audience knew she was going to sing . they sang The Prayer which had everyone on there feet. an amazing evening and i had my photo taken with Lucy which just finished the night off on a high for me . best night of my life @@anthonyl.6879

BACK AGAIN TO SHARE AGAIN... and again. This quality really must be on the radio! SOMEWHERE, there are stations with a genre format that can play this. Lucy, whatever it takes by help from whatever entities there are in radio, TV, agency media, etc., please try and get your music into the face and ears of the general public.

i have loved this song for 50 plus years. i love this version with the wonderfully talented Lucy every bit as much if not more than the original which came out with the movie the year before i was born. i'm a disabled nurse on a limited income if i were still able to work i would purchase everything this beautiful young lady published. i love having hard copies of music, etc. i recommend her every chance i get. and believe me that is a lot. i still have former patients, co-workers etc who keep in touch and i want them to feel as blessed as i do when i listen to Lucy. yep, i'm positive the more i listen to this song and it is multiple a day everyday (i have Lucy playing on a loop actually) i LOVE this version more!

This young lady has worked very hard to have the best voice in music. She can sing a wide range of songs - and they are all great. Many better than the original artist. Its a blessing to listen to her.

I cannot believe that the woman singing this is not well known, like, lets say Miley, Beyonce et alia. The voice of this woman is tremendous. Truthfully speaking I have never heard better.

@@LucyThomasMusic It was dark and snowy back in 1963 I remember taking the bus back to boarding school and hearing this song. Such a long time ago when parents and friends are alive. Then everything changes but this song reminds me of those days in time, and no way to get this them physically back except by memory and with this song. That was a long time ago.
