I love these guys; it's a contest of who can pull off the hammiest acting :)

It's funny how the bald guy is Rapunzel's Prince - compensating for something?

He's covering his ears to get away from Rapunzel's Ah-ah-ah-ahs.

@bigggstarrr No that is false vibrato is something that singers must create with their vocal chords by creating isolations in the pitches they sing; they can also change the frequency of their vibrato to make it faster or slower but it doesn’t really come naturally.

these guys are much more conscious of their singing and not the acting....the movie scene was obviously directed for the intention and humor...

Well, it is a concert after all

I guess my point is that even if these guys were doing the show, they are trained to think of how they produce sound and less about telling the story. They are very good, and do manage to get the humor from the song, it's just interesting to me to see how different the approaches are between "singers" and "actors who sing"...

Daniel Evans has the perfect face for this song. Something about it is just hilarious.

it's a nice version but I prefer the original Broadway cast or Michael Xavier and Simon Thomas from the 2010 London revival

It feels to me like they're relying on their mics a little too much in this instance.

@bigggstarrr that's how it is supposed to be sung...?

LOL, I do think Daniel Evans favours Patrick Stewar a bit.

Who did the casting here? I find it impossible to imagine this is the best they could find.

uhhhh I wish they would cut off together

cant help but feel that Simon Russel Beale and Bryn Terfel could have made this funnier.....

The mic are way to "live." Too active. They pick up every sound of the mouth etc.

Not bad, but I feel like it's sung to "opera-y" It needs more comedy.

Why does the guy on the right grab his hair at 2:05? He's bald. . .

But it's not very funny. Actually it's kind of boring. Saw the original Broadway cast and Westenberg and Wagner are much better and way more funnier.
