Handstand Equipment - Do You Really Need It?
In this video, I will give you an introduction to handstand equipment and why you could possibly benefit from some fo the handstand equipment out there. The handstand equipment I will discuss is handstand blocks, Handstand board, parallettes and handstand canes.
Some of this handstand equipment can also be considered valuable in calisthenics and bodyweight training as well. The reasoning for using this equipment for calisthenics and bodyweight training would be the same as discussed for handstands.
Especially parallettes is a very useful piece of equipment for calisthenics and bodyweight training. The wooden board, handstand blocks and handstand canes can be considered for specialised equipment for handstands specifically.

Parallettes are my favorite tool to save my wrists. I injured my wrist last year (taking groceries out of my car 😐) and couldn't do floor handstands for a few months, but was able to do them on mini parallettes similar to the ones you have. Very portable as well I love them 😎

Hi, nice video! How is the grip on the wooden board? I bought one from another brand years ago but it ended up being slippery after some uses.

I use floor, dumbbells (ends and grips), BOSU balls (both sides); lately with medicine balls (handles and regular balls- hard to do). One armed, here i come!!! Interesting the wobble quality on stilts, im finding it easier on BOSU balls.

Great review, thank you! Do you know if the board will slip during kickups on surfaces like artificial turf?
@Sondre_Berg
@Sondre_Berg 2 жыл бұрын
I for a fact that it won’t 😊 My bad for not including this in the review as it is a key feature of all their products - they have these no slip gel buttons underneath all of their equipment, so for all of the equipment it’s practically impossible to slip 😅

Which time of the day do you strength train and how long?
@Sondre_Berg
@Sondre_Berg 3 жыл бұрын
Whenever it fits my schedule best 😜 The best time is the time you can actually do it! The strength workout itself usually about 1 hour 15min or so. But I also do a lot of not strength related training like handstands, acrobatics etc
