I actually didn't want to show this movie to my mother because I thought she'd think it's weird. But by the end she was in tears and my mom is a tough woman and doesn't cry much. If this movie so powerful that it can make my mother cry then it's doing something right

I was watching this movie when my dad's friend came to our house. He informed that my dad had heart attack in the middle of meeting and passed away on the way to hospital. This song somehow reminds me to that event, but I don't mind it at all. Instead it helped me to remember him, with grateful. I love you, dad. It's like my dad talking to me everytime I had a hard time to sleep. "Hush now, my Storeen. Close your eyes and sleep."

I love the fact that you could take almost every scene in this movie and turn it into a nice wallpaper

I'm not usually one to cry at films - that's something my sister and mum do, but not me. But saying that... I cried three times watching this movie for the very first time. THREE. It was just so beautiful, the soundtrack is haunting, the characters are so well thought out and I just love it so much and GAH. In my opinion, it's actually a perfect movie. I can seriously not think of a single bad thing to say about it.

While I was at summer camp I had a dream where I was out on the ocean and heard this song. I awoke to my camp counselor (who slept on the bunk below me) looking at me and when I asked her what was up she told me I was singing in my sleep. My friends proceeded to back her up. Weirdest camp moment ever.

Just finished this movie today it was amazing. I really liked the plot, first it tells different tales and later on all the tale become coherent, which they absolutely did amazing job doing it. The stylized art style is main reason why I loved this film so much it just feel magical, while the theme also elevated it really blend well with the art. I was in awe every second I was watching this This one is definitely up there with the greats like howls moving castle, spirit away and princess mononoke

Whoever wrote this music, he/she must've taste a couple of seconds in Heaven. Their conciousness randomly goes to Heaven for just couple of seconds. Because damn, even if u don't understand english. This music like a bless to thy ears and brain.

Such a beautiful lullaby

A long time ago I was a student in high school (huge shocker, I know) and there was a girl that I took to prom, who would later become the most important person in my life, at least for a time. I liked her, but I didn’t really understand what I was feeling at the time. I didn’t truly get what that feeling was until I had lost the chance to express it the way she deserved. But that night, after prom, I went home and put on a couple movies. This was one of them. It has no other connection to her, or really anything else in my life. But the memory of sitting in the dark with that movie’s ever-present blue palette in my eyes is a special one. Everything felt right. To this day, I think of that night, and of that girl, whenever I see a clip from it. The other movie I watched that night was Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which holds a little less sentimental value.

I watched this movie yesterday and I love it so much. The animation drawings were so so amazing beautiful and so relaxing. I loved the characters to specially that girl. She was so cute from the beginning to the end. And the brother was, was a good brother at last. he became her great brother that he always wanted to be. And I love the story of the movie and the sacrifice of their mother. And overs the song it was so relaxing and peaceful and it give me Goosebumps so many times and still! And in the last scene, my mother, I and my sister we cried much. From then , I don't know why I am always hearing the song everywhere beside me. After all this movie is really good I love the drawings and missions and the characters and the story too.

i havent felt in peace with my self for almost 2years just after this i really cried its really beauty-full song it zelf

Might seem silly, but this song calms my dog down. He's a very hyperactive dog and it takes a lot for him to relax. We even had to teach him the command "settle" because we would tell him to lie down but he would be so stiff. I came across this song and it really helped me sleep so I played it for him and he fell asleep in the next 30 seconds or so ( granted he was already laying down, but still.) Sometimes when he's really nervous and jittery I'll start to sing this to him and he'll calm down a bit.
