I thought she only had one child, a son and would send letters and pictures of the child and of herself. From what I remember she finally sent him a letter asking him to kill himself on a certain day and at a certain time, claiming that on that day and time she would kill first "their" child and then herself so the three of them could be together in their next life. He was completely freaked out until he learned that she was placed in a mental hospital when her family learned of what she had been doing and what she had planned.

My own part: The story of Melanie Martinez’s “Cry Baby” album is actually pretty dark. It starts with Cry Baby, which is about a depressed girl, aptly known as Cry Baby, putting on a fake smile. Come Dollhouse and it is revealed she has a dysfunctional family. This is continued in Sippy Cup, where her mom murders her dad and his mistress. After four songs (Alphabet Boy, Soap, Carousel and Training Wheels) that I can’t remember the true meaning of, we get to Pity Party, which involves Cry Baby trashing her birthday party due to no one coming. In Tag, You’re It, Cry Baby gets kidnapped by a guy in a fursuit, then poisons that same guy in Milk and Cookies. After two more songs (Pacify Her and Mrs. Potato Head), in Mad Hatter, she accepts that she is insane.

I finally understand these lyrics after hearing this song, one last time, and I carefully read the words because I listen to the version where it only shows the lyrics and sings the song and I read the lyrics carefully and what you are saying is actually true he saying the kid is not my son and I’m thinking about the letters that she had sent him, and what he is saying, and the song Billie Jean I’m thinking about it and I’m combining those two together thinking about it and it actually makes a lot of sense now because putting those two together like a puzzle piece That’s actually just crazy cause I just heard the song I just seen this video I’m combining those two together.
