for the vocal stacks adlib that you said.. once you get familiarize with SM you'll definitely hear that in all of their releases... SM is one of the very few, if not the only kpop company who does this kind of thing in their songs especially on the chorus... If you'll get the top vocals you'll definitely hear the craziness happening with the background vocals.. p.s in their album they give credit to who is singing in the back, because they use a lot of background vocals mostly producers/sm vocal coaches/non-members and so far I haven't seen any songs of them that doesn't have anyone being credited as the background vocals coz even group members gets a credit.

This song had so much sonic information that I didn't even hear the differences between the choruses. I'm glad that you pointed them out so I can listen for them later! I hope you will show this song to Logan too because he was saying in his INVU reaction that Taeyeon and aespa are his favorites and so I recommended Step Back because Winter and Karina from aespa and Taeyeon are in this group together!! Also, I would like to request *Devil by Max Changmin.* This song kinda gives me the same vibes that Sons of Legion does!!

It probably is difficult as an outsider to jump in to this project group without knowing anything else about the artists or k-pop in general. 'Girls on Top' (GOT) is a rotating lineup of SM girl group members/soloists that just started this year. This particular lineup of 7 is known as 'GOT the beat,' and this debut song is titled 'Step Back.' Hope that clears up some confusion.

You likely already know that Dwayne Abernathy Jr. aka Dem Jointz produced this (who's famous for including his trademark sample at the start of most productions, "Incoming...!") shortly after knocking out Kanye West's last album: Donda. Regarding the country western influence of the jaw harp / mouth harp which you noticed sampled in the dance break.... you may want to avoid ever streaming Lingo by aespa off their Girls album from this past July: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qN6kl9qk2L7df6c.html It is so addictive

@@thebillboard500club Just the above linked song from aespa's KZfaq channel. SM Entertainment chose the b-sides specifically as fillers since Dreams Come True, Forever and Black Mamba were all singles an individual releases from the previous year.
