I think the best thing I’ve ever heard from Ray was after he did an audience sing along and he finish the song and then he told the audience that this point in time he normally suggests to everyone that there are CDs available in the lobby if they’d like to go in and buy an album or two, that would be appreciated. And then he says under the circumstances, though if you would like to use that money to buy metronomes and pitch pipes I’d be totally OK with that. And then just kept going like nothing happened. I love Ray.

I remember hearing this song for the first time with Paul Thorn performing it. Btw, the Percussionist works in Sporting goods at Walmart, when he's not greeting the door folks.

Wow. Hate to see yall so excited and with the anti-climax, there... first off, listen to the studio recording because it really emphasizes the oooowwooohmmmmph. BUT the primary thing missing, here, is used to be a brothel in the back, when asked for particular snake. Code word. Maybe the black mamba... (a la the texas chicken ranch, all real)
