A lot of times, I like Elliott Smith's covers better than the original artists'. :) Especially, "Thirteen" by Big Star and "Long, Long,Long" by George Harrison OXOX

Absolutely, to the point they've become iconic even, like Thirteen in Lucky Three. He also has an amazing performance of They'll Never Take Her Love from Me in a live set here on YT, the one where his beer bottle falls off the table twice. It's probably the one the comes up if you search "Elliott Live Fargo"
