I genuinely am shocked by the amount of fans who are convinced Jason Griffith is going to return as Shadow or even think that any video game actor has a chance. Hands down Jason griffith is good and he does an outstanding performance as Shadow, but he isn't going to generate ticket sales, which is part of the reason why they chose to add Shadow to the third movie to begin with.

I’m hoping for Keanu realistically but deep down I really want Jason to come back which is unrealistic in the world of Hollywood

Well, let me be honest right here. I know most of the Sonic fans wanted Shadow to be voiced by Jason Griffith, Hayden Christensen, Robert Pattinson or Keanu Reeves for Sonic 3, (Even you wanted Keanu Reeves to voice Shadow, and that's fine with me.) but for me, I personally want Shadow to be voiced by Jason Statham for Sonic 3, because Statham played as a villain before and now a good guy as his character Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious franchise, and Shadow did the same thing when he made a first appearance as a villain and now a good guy. Another reason why I wanted Statham to play Shadow is because his voice for Shadow almost sounds like his original voice actor David Humphrey, and plus, both Shadow and Statham always like to fight bad guys in a brutal way and kill them in a violent way. But if you disagree with my Shadow voice prediction for Sonic 3, that's fine. (No rude or negative comments please)

I think that they might have chosen Shadow's very first english VA David Humphrey, because he made an updated Instagram profile picture of himself sitting in a recording booth with a script on his tablet/screen and he also has a little cut-out picture of Shadow taped to that booth. Alyla Brown put out a picture on Instagram of herself being in a bodybag with a pillow beside her that has the name Maria on it to hint that she got casted in as that character. So I got into thinking that Paramount might have had that OG VA in their minds from the start, but probably thought that they shouldn't reveal that idea to the public unless they could actually succeed in getting him to join the movie cast, then choose a very special day to confirm it on, like maybe Sonic's birthday (June 23). So that could be why they've been taking soo long to confirm who the chosen actor is to the public. I could be wrong, but since that young female actor showed who she was going to be in that movie in an Instagram picture, that made me suspect that David Humphrey might be trying to use that profile picture for that same purpose.

I don't know who it is. Who is voice Movie Shadow, I just want to see Movie Eggman's true form.
