Special Stage 7 can burn In hell for all of Eternity. Stupid stage put me and no doubt many others through pure hell trying to beat It.

Now these Special Stages are FAR easier to handle than Episode Is because you can know if you'll fail and the Retry button can fix that instead of just randomly hitting a GOAL and no way to pause and retry fast enough without quick thinking.

In between rounds Sonic is trying to get Tails to play Janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors) but Tails doesn't want to because he always lose and have to end up treating Sonic to Chili Dogs.

Well, it took me an hour, but I beat stage 7 last night, and I was using the retry thing too! One attempt ended with 499 rings instead of 500. But I did do it in the end.

Poor Tails, always takes the damage instead of sonic XD

Fastest special stages I've ever seen and much better than the previous ones (i.e. Sonic 2, Sonic Rush & Sonic Generations 3DS). This is pure Sonic at his best!

These stages ironically look fun to speedrun, mostly because it’s controlled at your own pace.

It's hard to explain, but tails kind of helps getting rings you missed, it depends on your movement though, since he follows you around. And when he gets the rope thing where they're both connected, whatever ring comes into contact with the rope gets collected. Tails is more usefull than you would think.

I struggled until I learned to Boost. Boost makes it all pretty achievable, and no harder than episode 1.

My sister was watching me trying to get the 7th chaos emerald for about half an hour. I obviously managed to get the damn 500 rings about three seconds after she was gone XD

I honestly can't pass stages 6 and 7,I tried trial and error but that didn't work so can anyone give me tips?

I have beaten all special stages in experience and once you beat all of them, they are all cakewalk

even though Tails took some damage, Sonic didn't take any damage one bit in any of these stages. Can you do the same for Sonic Heroes?

Am I the only one who noticed that the order you get the emeralds in is almost exactly like in Sonic 2? I say almost because we have a teal Chaos Emerald instead of a pink one.

That one dislike is either from Dr. Eggman or a guy who raged quited on the first Special Stage.

Wait you can boost?

In generations the spindash was involuntarily made overpowered, while in S4Ep2 there is a "Tails&Sonic" attack which just resembles the spindash, but is made to be powerful, and they are both assigned to the X button (on the Xbox 360). The joke was showing how all overpowered attacks in recent Sonic games were assigned to the same button

Honestly, special stage 6 is stupid easy if you boost at the first phase, then you don't boost in the last two phases. On the second phase, be sure to get 20 rings, hit the spring and collect all the rings.

Yeah, but I got in 530+ rings on the 7th special stage. (no higher than 540 though)

This game is a lot of fun for me to play these charges are way better than Sonic episode 1 and way better than Sonic 3 and knuckles special I miss stages in the main line Sonic the music for this is just epic
