Since it's implied that the opening to the game was the end of one adventure and the start of the next, then that means that in the end, Eggman won that one. He tends to get what he wants when he aims low enough...

When I played Terminal Velocity Act 2, I actually got scared, because I thought that Sonic was about to die.

I normally like Reach for the Stars, but god damn I felt like my ears were being raped during Super Sonic.

I never felt like this when playing a sonic game of all things but I felt so pumped when the music got all awesome when eggman is just saying " YOU HORRID LIL HEDGEHOG!" That is one of the most epic moments I've experienced playing a game like this :D

Two things I'm hoping for Sonic Colors Ultimate: 1. Collecting a hundred rings gives us an extra life, like all the games before and after. Seriously, the Wii version DOESN'T gives us extra lives after collecting a hundred rings for some weird reason. The developers probably just forgot about it. 2. The second thing I'd like to see in Ultimate is that we have an actual Super Sonic vs. True Final boss fight. One that comes after Eggman's Nega wisp bot. I know there was the Nega mother wisp in the DS version, but not in the Wii version. I wonder why.

Guess you could say that battle was SUPER SONIC. Eggman went into a FRENZY trying to SPIKE that Hedgehog, and his machine was as tough as a CUBE. The whole thing was a DRILL. (I don't have anymore Wisp themed puns.)

Watching this after playing Sonic Lost World, It seems like the finale of that game is basically a rip off of the finale boss of this one, right down the laser beams speeding up thing.

Back in the days when Sonic Team was a legend and creative with Sonic Games the Orchestra of a theme music, an insane boss battles and beautiful game actions I miss these days.

Amazing Sonic game. Also, I never actually knew that Super Sonic existed in this game until about like, 4 years after I got the game.

Love the game or not, but what I love before the final fight is Sonic standing in front of Tails and putting his arm in front of him in a "get behind me" motion to protect him. Small detail to miss, but through Sonic's and Eggman's witty banner, he never moves his arm in front of his best friend. And when Tails mentions that he's scared (a little) and that he doesn't think they can beat him, Sonic doesn't hesitate to get him in the space elevator and send him off to safety. After what happened with the mind ray earlier, Sonic doesn't want his little bro to get hurt again. Their friendship in this game is so beautiful.

You know what would have been cool in the final boss when you were going to give him the last blow when the wisps were making a spiral I wished they made sonic like turn wisp sonic or some cool transformation

I love how Super Saiyans get pummeled by cyborgs and then Sonic wipes out like 1000 super elite robots without turning super. HE DEFEATED MULTIPLE GODS ON HIS OWN. EVEN WITHOUT SUPER. Also he demolished a overpowered death egg robot.

If you pause at 12:41 you can see a Red Burst Wisp flying across the screen. This is the Wii version why are you here? Then again, the Wii and DS versions share the same cutscene. I think there are also Violet Void wisps in the same cutscene.
