I actually have an idea for a sonic fan game that is just a sonic game... At first. In the fan game everyone can die, and each character can go insane in three different ways: witnessing death can cause them to become VERY depressed until they kill themselves. Causing death can turn them into a murderous psychopath. Learning that all their friends are dying (without witnessing it) will make them suffer from crippling anxiety and you will no longer be able to play as them despite them still being alive.
