@@Ink_Akane_Kurokawa Knuckles & Eggman Both survived that was my 8th plathrough but my 1st Playtrough i beat knuckles on the running stage and Eggman was the hide & Seek one where i Fail Countless time than Eggman die and knuckles just kept running entire life

HOLY SHIT AN OPEN ENDING WHAT THE FUCK. ngl, u shud be able to take a sacrefice route with knux, after all he is the one who teached sonic how to do it, and knowing knuckles, he would also sacrefice himself, but only if the fight goes badly.

Can anyone explain to me what this ending is? Exe is badly wounded but is still alive, Knuckles is in Labyrinth Zone on the ground, knocked out ((Or dead.)) So I need an explanation please. ;w;

Well To me it looks like he is alive, because his eyes are closed and is knocked unconscious. And I could be wrong it's just a guess.

Exe seems to be fatally wounded and in a red background meaning knux won or exe was so injured he had to escape and considering what we know about super forms it's hard to imagineknuckles dead.
