This is without a doubt the darkest route possible. Tails and Amy make it into freedom city, but Cream,Sally,Eggman and Knuckles have already perished and they're both self aware due to deja vu. so they decide to commit suicide to reset the timeline and try again.

it's so sad to see tails losing hope to the point of committing suicide, for me this is the worst ending so far

Can you imagine going into this ending blind like: "Yeah, I'm gonna keep Tails and Amy alive no matter what!" And then they just kill themselves.

it will sound painful if Tails remembered all his deaths, what is happened before and with himself when the Timeline was reseted, and know the Timeline was reseted many times

That ending... This one and the cream running away ending, god this game gets dark and i love it. I never thought they would actually consider that as a way to just, reset the timeline. Thats hardcore.

It's sad seeing Tails and Amy go thru such a dark ending.

Tails is 9 yrs old (according to the game in the memory fragment for tails and sally) and somehow knows everything that's up.

This entire series is depression in a nutshell. I never in my life thought I'd be bawling this hard over sonic characters committing suicide.

Honestly, some call this the worst ending, but honestly I disagree. Tails and Amy go out on their own terms, and they did it for the betterment of everyone. I'd say the Tails and Cream ending is truly the worst, if you've seen it.

It's sad they had to resort to suicide . But what they did was technically smart . They're aware of Deja vu being some sort of Groundhog day effect , and not surviving with all your friends means certain death . *So they commit suicide to reset the timeline and try again . They know it hurts to fail everytime , but they will keep trying until they succeed .* Plus if the timeline is going to reset anyways , might as well die a painless death next to a friend . Rather than tortured by a demon until inevitable death .

F for sunfrie to suffer on the past levels before getting into the endings.

This one made me cry,specially the fact that amy doesnt stop him,shes like... fine. She knows whats going on,and kills herself with him. Thats so sad... but wholesome at the same time.

Oh man never thought there would be a Suicide ending in this game. It must be hard for tails about remember his death when the timeline reset. There are no fighting scene in this duo ending. Too bad. But it still a good one.

You know….tails knowing about the resented timelines means something….Alice is truly helping exeller with his plans but she may not realize it. Think about it what has Alice been doing. Letting them survive (well a few) and reset the timeline. Over and over like a fever dream. Tails remebers but it’s not until later. Truly Alice is making them suffer and if they truly thought far with deja vu. They would most likely think about killing not only exeller but Alice as well cause of the pain she caused them and tails knows. Really it’s sad but it has to mean something and that’s a theory…A GAME *THEORY-*

This has to be the 2nd darkest ending I've seen in this game.

In all honesty, this isn’t so dark. It was in between happy and neutral ending because Amy and Tails found a solution not only they can agree on but they’re saving their friends from being a lost cause.

This game's storyline is so depressing, anyway, you slice it. It is a reflection of the author's mentality. Even the best ending sucks for the heroes in its obscurity of victory. The underdogs or beyond under.They are turned inside out by the villain. Exe is like The Grudge on steroids. As a matter of fact, there are no heroes, just victims, and the infatuation with death and torture. There should be at least one fighting chance that they could all survive. It is a dual system in reality. There is a positive and negative, light, darkness, life and death, up and down, left and right, so on and so forth. In this game, there is only darkness, the illusion, and deception of a chance of survival. The author is the real Exeller! He put himself in the story!

Nobody will talk about thing that before "your result" screen is tails and Amy alive, but result shows that they dead? My theory: after final cutscene, where tails and Amy goes to bed, sonic.exe found tail and Amy. And kill them

What's crazy about most of these duo endings that I have seen so far have resulted in at least one of the survivors still end up dying. It's really messed up with the girls, because in the Amy/Sally ending, Amy still dies. In the Cream/Sally ending, Sally dies. So it's clear that you can't have an actual duo survival with Sally. So far, the only successful duo survival is Amy & Cream.
