Tommy-Ray Collyer honestly same. I distinctly remember it being the first game that I genuinely sank an insane amount of hours into. I was hopelessly addicted to this game as a kid. And tbh it isn’t just the nostalgia talking because I’ve gone back recently and played it and had just as much fun as I did back then

I tell ya this stages music just makes you feel like you're taking on an entire fleet all by yourself. Like "YEAH WE DOING THIS BOIS!!".

yeah, and the fact that there are 4 teams to complete, make it better to play it as a family... the stage maybe the similar but we got different stories and perspective each team

How would boosting work with team gameplay?

@@juliewinchester1488 Well this is just my concept ideas, if anyone has a better one please share it; I love constructive criticism and other people's idea's. (Boosting mechanic at bottom; see the (*). Anyway the idea would be something along the lines of the heroes power, flight and speed. You're player character would choose 1 weapon to represent them and the other roles will be filled by sonic characters you meet, unlock or rescue over time. You can swap between them during gameplay. *Power* : These characters have the ability to punch into enemies and take out waves; they can also break through walls to get to hidden shortcuts or secret areas. *Speed* : These characters can dash through enemies and home into them via a homing attack. They can also wall dash. *Flight* : These characters can fly, hover or glide over enemies, water or dangerous floors to reach new areas and hidden secrets. (*) *Boost* : When you collect enough boost you can do something like a fist bump in demand. No cinematic, no quick-time; you fill the gauge and use it until it runs out. This will have everyone grab hold of the speed character and you'll zoom off and faster speeds; you can also drift left or right using a grappling hook or in a ball. Boost can also be activated on any character, but you'll be swapped to the speed character while the boost happens.

@@WakoDoodle Ah. I don't have much time to go into detail, but I more imagine each character type having their own variant of the "boost", like a super attack for Power characters or... I don't know what for fly types - I guess, using boost as an extension to their own fly meter to fly higher/longer? But that does sound cool though. :3
