Yup! One thing I would love to see added, though, is Metal Sonic as a bonus character as per the original plans; whom I think could be a very cool reward for enough S-Ranks or Silver Medals collected.

@@ImpressionWorks1 having played the Original 06 recently I honestly fail to see what the big hoo ha was with it, it just kinda was? Ultimately it was so minuscule and isn't acknowledged after it happens. I was led to believe it was something worse than a footnote in the Last Story tbh.

I've noticed a few things. In Sonic's Crisis City, he said "Jump", but there's no lorry and when he reached to Goal Ring, the fire tornado disappeared instead of exploding. In the Silver stages with my favourite female Sonic character, Blaze in them, I'm very happy of what her gameplay style's like. The only downside is, I've noticed her eyelids are dark purple like her blouse instead of being lavender like the rest of her head. So, I think her eyelids need to be fixed.

I love P-06 so much as I get to go back to the Adventure formula in a new way. Easily my favorite formula to date and I would even play the original 06 over and over back in the day,

The story is still pretty messed up indeed but the remake still corrected most of the problems in the vanilla game

I can forgive a convoluted story and sub-par voice acting if the gameplay is good. Vanilla 06 is not good. This, however, is a masterpiece.

While some parts of Shadow and Silvers story sound good on paper the execution leaves a lot to be desired. We can all simply agree that sonic's story is the worst of the bunch with its repetitiveness, and that one sonic x episode where sonic helps some kid in a wheel chair was what they were trying to go for (no forced romance either). But you still have bad pacing, tonal shifts, plot holes, time paradox, bad mocap, awkward dialogue, filler, misuse of characters (knuckles for example), most scenes don't even have music so its really hard to care or feel anything. and of course the characters faces hardly or don't emote at all, they're like giant puppet heads and it makes it look so odd. there's no fixing this as a whole but having simple short in game cutscenes like the silver tropical jungle or kingdom valley is the next best thing. Really helps the arcade like feel that sega's used to be known for.

It's just a story lol. Besides Silver, Sonic and Shadow had badass moments since their intros.😂

If it wasn't for the unacceptably long and frequent loading screens and the stupid town missions Sonic 06 would have been a decent game. The actual main levels are pretty fun for the most part and I never really minded the cheesy story (although Elise does get kidnapped too many times).

Imagine if we lived in a world where sonic 06 was as good as P06 with a better story and everything. That would mean sonic boom would never happen and that means sonic forces won't happen and that means the franchise wouldn't have been a punching bag for so many years...

I don’t know why but I can still see it happening. SEGA allowing this to be playable on actual console hardware. A dream!

If they do, that be awesome! ..(careful a little grain of salt.) However, I not sure their company are having conservative of their schedule with proper development ever since they released Frontiers… idk there’s must be a way to have a great trade with such ideal potentials for the project (XChaos’s), not just for the ‘money’. (Sure back when their company was having technical issues and financial issues(?) ) It’s to give what ppl wanting to enjoy games; their storylines, the graphics, game mechanics, knowledge the tutorial a bit, the characters with interesting each perks, their interactions, their decent dialogues and most of all, the closure must never rush with the bad cliffhanger. (I guess, it depends what developers deal with the ending. Included, the writings must never go blandness. ) When it comes to bad reviews (those who were noticing there’s some bugging or something-not-right feeling) that’s fine. They’re giving the extra details to make it shine and revisions, as long it’s not too overstate things. Hahah But when it comes to toxic reviews, … well I’ll thinking they just badmouthing anything that doesn’t make sense at all. Afterall, the P-06 is fixation version from the unfinished, original game. Some ppl were giving incredible reviews and I don’t see the problem why it’s SO ‘bad’…😅 (screw them, I betting they get their eyes check real quick or they don’t know much about games ooor… something else that beyond my assumptions. ) It sorta my opinion, I guess. And make some characters just not appear until it's safe to spawn. Sometimes these ally characters spawn near a hole or something and die. Also make some characters disappear until it's there turn since in crisis city silver says "Blaze!" All excited even though blaze was following him the entire time. Other than that this update is amazing

I hope the hub worlds get the Frontiers treatment. Like a full map accessible from the pause menu (I think SADX had this as well), setting waypoints, and even fast travel.

@@skeetermania3202 You get style points for doing stuff like going through rainbow rings and other tricks, plus the main thing, enemy chains where the more enemies you take out before touching the ground, the bigger score bonus you get when you do. That’s where the ‘Perfect 2000’ thing comes from in SA2. It incentivises flow and low-key ads depth to what little combat there is. Mindlessly mashing to beat enemies becomes ‘how long can I keep this combo chain going?’. It’s in Heroes too.

What are you talking about? He's was the only one who wanted and was willing to fight in The End of the World. Literally had the most badass line in the game, shit the series. "If you say it exist and the past, present, and future. I'll destroy him all at once!"

I agree, and the models for Shadow, Silver and the rest of the 06 cast are fine to. I like Shadow's especially. But now so many people prefer the style of the models from Unleashed and onwards because of how cartoony they look. The 06 style was intended to be a mix of cartoony yet realistic but too many negative nancies just had to spam so much hate for them to.

At the time the only thing I remember being a nuisance with this game was the load screen and a few bugs which is understandable. I would love if the speed sections were all a bit longer. Also I've always hated the way radical train just ends with the train at a dead stop. I used to use the white gem in the original just because it gave sonic three tricks when homing attacking, but in this update, I wish that were a standard, and the white gem should be something like the light attack that attacks 3 enemies in a row or something. Can't tell if the boost on the blue gem does damage or not, but, it should, like the newer sonic game boost. The "S" ranks need to be updated. 80,000 is easy on most of these levels it looks like. It could be 100,000 for a good challenge. I still hate the escort missions with Elise, but, I don't think that can change. The blue gem seems useless still, the green gem should have a big range. Just some of my thoughts at the end of sonics section. 36:29 also, the side characters should be playable after you complete the story in all levels, I think. Not sure how that would work though. Maybe have to cut out speed/boarding sections? Idk. But, they need more screen time.

With shadow, I can definitely see the need for increased rail speed. Each spin on a rail should make them faster and faster. It looks like it basically just maintains speed right now. Shadow is done really well in this update so it's hard to find anything else to change. But I do wish he had maybe just a few upgrades like gems to find. One for him, one for his two partners maybe. Something that Rouge can use to make her have something like a double jump to increase her height while gliding might be cool. For shadow, I wish he had a boost like the blue gem, or maybe something like chaos control from shadow the hedgehog. Just scaled down.

@@selassieaspen9940 if you had actually bothered to read and use comprehension I was referring to making an adventure style game again. Something they haven't officially done since Sonic 06 because it's common knowledge that Sega is afraid of making the same gigantic mistake with another Sonic game they did with 06. Not just them being scared to take risks in general. Also Frontiers is a sign that their starting to *not* be scared to venture out anymore since we've had Boost Games for over 10 years now with Frontiers being the main point where they *didn't* do that again. Also Team Sonic Racing and Dream Team are Spin-Offs and Mobile Games. So I wouldn't really count those. That's like saying Sonic Dash was a risk and a gamble or something. It was just Temple Run with Sonic Features and Content, nothing more nothing less.
