Sonic was originally supposed to use the door he kicked down at the end of flying battery as a snow board.

I don't know if this is mentioned in the video, but when Eggman shows up in the Mean Bean coffee shop and changes to the scene right outside, there's a helicopter that the major characters (I forgot their names, but Donut Lord and his wife) hop out of.
