Sonny and Brenda have so many levels and that's one of the reasons why I LOVE THEM! Brenda is and was the ABSOLUTE BEST thing that EVER happened in Sonny's life. Luke was good to Brenda at times. He was invested in Sonny and Brenda's relationship as well.

The cast is not what it was and Sonny and Brenda can't be duplicated..

I agree with mwerner1020... you hit the nail on the head Guza has really screwed all the s/l and the friendships could have been. There is too much animosity on GH now... Carly pretty much hates every single female on the show except for Olivia.

See how subtle the mob was written back then? It was so much more realistic. Now it's just so over the top and corny. Like a boy writing fiction.

@Steeellaaa - absolutely none. They should have BEGGED Labine to stay. She quit and it's because she just didn't like the way things were run at GH.

@r2niko1 It was a lot of bad timing. MB left the show so Sonny and Brenda getting married went out the window then by the time he came back for good VM was gone. VM came back but it was only 6 months so nothing happened. Now honestly, i have not gotten anything out of Sonny and Brenda and am not really watching anymore. Too many years have gone bye to me it feels like their window has passed and it's not interesting to me like it once was..
