Thanks, I enjoyed making this. Your video is very clear. I did use glue as my arthritis makes it difficult to assemble modular origami.

Thank you for making it so clear for the assembly. I love sonobe units and wanted to make a spiked dodecahedron instead of the usual octahedral or icosahedral.

After constructing, I use a dab of glue to hold the tabs in to prevent it from any collapsing if someone were to drop it. 😝 thanks for the tutorial. I’ve been making tons since I found your video!

Thank you for the great tutorial and clear instructions! Is it possible to use the same technique for making a kusudama of 12 or 30 pieces?

I’m so glad it was so helpful! ☺️ I made a kusudama with this style of Sonobe with 24 (I think?) pieces, and it worked, but not as well as 60 pieces. Due to the angles of the pockets and flaps, it works best with 60. However, the regular sonobe works with 12 or 30! I can link you to the regular sonobe assembly videos of those if you’re interested! 😊
