Thanks for watching, yeah i totally agree on that. I actually thought that these had upfiring speakers. Dont know why i thought they had that but yeah they shouldve made something special about the Era 100s. They sound almost similiar to the Sonos Ones.

Thanks for watching and the positive feedback, yeah totally agree with you on that Sonos One and Era 100s are pretty much the same speaker. The only advantage Era 100s have is a little better bass. The next step is either Era 300s or wait for the Era 500s hopefully they will drop it 2024 😂. Sonos One SLs are awesome surround speakers. Those where my first surround speakers with the Arc and i enjoyed them really much. 🙏

@@thisishazno8536 just learned yesterday on the official Sonos site, with the era 100’s when paired with the arc, the rear height and sides are activated virtually/virtualized. Placed an order for those to test them out.

Thanks for watching, for beam 2 i would go with the Era 100. But i have not yet tried out beam 2 so i dont really know how big the sound is coming from it. But the era 300 might be a little to much for the beam 2. Yes its really easy to switch between stereo pair and surround in the app.

Thanks for watching, If you have the Arc right now and want to know how to go next. I would go for the sub gen 3 because the sub really makes a difference in the sound in general. But if you dont care about bass i would go for surround speakers and get the sonos one sl. But i would go the other way around and sub first you will love the sub gen 3

Thanks for watching and for the positive feedback. Yeah totally agree wish Sonos would make it easier to toggle between stereo pair and surround mode for all their speakers. Its just a hassle to unpair and repair when you want to use different surround speakers. Specially if you have Five and Era 300s as surround to switch between. Sometimes i like my Fives more but its just a hassle to unpair the existing surround speakers. But yeah the Era 100s are really good for music aswell love them in stereo pair

Thanks for watching, Hahaha yeah im just used to my fives so when i listen to these speakers i may sound a little bias but for me dont think there is much of a sound difference between these speakers. 😂😂

I have a Beam Gen 2, Gen 3 Sub, with Symfonisk bookshelf rear surrounds with a LG OLED 55C1. I upgraded to the One SLs after X-mas and I couldn't hear a difference in whole house audio or Atmos/5.1 movies? I have a Beam Gen 1, Gen 3 Sub, and Symfonisk bookshelf rears in my master bedroom with LG OLED 55C9. Both systems are in similar sized rooms and I really don't hear a significant difference between them with audio. The One SLs look better and have a smaller footprint to place on a end table or speaker stand. If there is a difference between Symfonisk, One SLs, or Era 100, it is hard to hear at normal listening levels (20%-60% volume) for me in home theater mode.

Thanks for watching, you can only connect Sonos ones with airplay threw apple tv or something like that. You can then use them as "tv speakers" and without any soundbar. But not straight connection to a tv.

The Era 300 might need some space on the sides, top, and away from the primary listening position to envelop the sweet spot for the most effective spatial audio. The One SLs, Era 100, and Fives are laser beams of sound and puts it directly into the sweet spot without relying ceilings, walls, or distance as much. My office One SLs are backed against a wall on about 2 feet away either side of my small sofa. The Era 300 would sound better; but, I feel I would be handicapping the Era 300 full capabilities sitting so close (Beam Gen 2, Gen 3 Sub, two One SLs).

Thanks for watching, depends on how big of a room you are talking about. My living room is 19x13 feet big so mid size and the system works great. Both the Ones and the Fives do a really good job as surround in my living room

@@soryngas8259 Then i would go for Era 100s, they have 20-25% louder sound and better bass specially for music. Sounds amazing as surround aswell
