Thanks for watching, that is one of the biggest issue with Sony playstation. Sony will allways make it as hard as possible to have a mic connected via headphones cause they are like Apple, they want you to buy their own pair of headphones with built in mic. I had the same issue with the airpods max as i have with the Sonos Ace. I dont think you will be able to use the mic from the headphones just from the controller. But you could try a lavalier microphone and see. Maybe it will work

Thanks for watching, you can have them in the same room and use them at the same time but not have them set in the same group when connected to the app. But you can group the speakers if you want but that will not allways sound good. But to answer your question yes you can group arc and beam together but i have never tested that and i dont know how good that will sound.

Called Sonos yesterday they went into the system and updated it. Agent said I should be good guess we will see lol they have good customer service I have to admit

Or yes i have started to use the alarm feature which is pretty good actually. But i feel you guys frustration its not like i dont know about the problems. I even explained why i think the new app is good but you guys still hate me for it 🙏

@@thisishazno8536 Ha! No worries brother, no hate toward you or even the speakers themselves. Just the app. Literally, my speakers won’t connect now and I have around 10. Worked fine previously. It’s maddening. Hope they sort this out soon. I can’t do a whole summer with no music. I throw a lot of pool parties. 😂

@@thisishazno8536 thanks for the reply! Even After the update of the app and speakers it was so bad last night. Basically unusable. Not recognizing subs, cutting out,music out of sync, not loading Apple Music playlists etc. restart and use Airplay and that worked. On your question I sure do wish the Lock Screen or volume buttons control would be brought back. Been awhile since they removed that. Nice to see the 0-100 numbers back at least! Overall still a mess!

But when the system doesnt recognize a speaker or sub thats more frustrating cause i have seen alot of people with the same issue. Its a shame an update has made it so bad for Sonos. Yeah the volume control buttons is something i would love to see back on the new app aswell.

@@thisishazno8536 100% agreed!! when they work well the multi room Sonos are great. As you mentioned it’s hard in the Ace PS5 test it’s to beat a wired connection! Unless the wires get cut lol. I have a Small McIntosh system in the kitchen/dining area and a 14-18 yr old 7.1 Pioneer Elite / Definitive Tech “wired” system with Dual powered subs and all my old gear just works when you play it! Thanks for watching, it depends on the bluetooth. Its easier to connect to icloud devices more than back to the ps5. But connecting back to ps5 it takes som manually repairing

@@matthewburno Yeah wish that too, they have their own headphones but they are not that comfortable. But Airpods max wired to the controller is amazing, but im with you wireless for gaming makes it easy.

Thanks for watching, you just disconnect the Era 100 as surround and then connect them as stereo pair if you have 2? I dont think you can connect one sub to one era 100. But im not really sure. But do you wanna connect 2 era 100s to one sub?

Thanks for watching, then you must be one of the very few that thinks that the Ace spatial sound is way better than the Airpods max. But you also have to consider this that the airpods max is 5 years old. With Airpods max 2 coming i think they will definitley blow the Ace out of the water with EVERYTHING. Ace is definitley not worth its price but we all like different stuff

i will give them another try with a another movie maybe that will change my mind. Im not saying the Ace is bad its a good pair of headphones. But for the test i did Airpods max was better bet im gonna do more tests today. Will allways give an honest opinion about it. Will comment later

Will also wait for the airpods max 2 and maybe by then Sonos has improved the Ace to be tested again. Cant wait to see what apple offers with airpods max 2

I will definitley try out Max Fury to test the Ace out a little bit more. But overall the airpods max is the clear winner for now when it comes to pure sound coming out of the headphones.
