Hey Jeven :) great review as always! Same as you I find that when I'm out climbing/mountaineering I'm trying to keep my setup as compact and light as possible, But I normally go for only one lens, as changing with gloves while hanging on Ice screws is something I rather avoid heh.. To that end, I got the 16-35 f4 paired with the A7C II. this was literally 2 weeks before the 16-25 was announced. My question is, as someone who's no stranger to mountaineering, would you pick one lens over the other if you'd only be taking one with you? Thanks again for a great review 🙏

sir, I want to know, which smart phone is best for vlogging in a budget ?? and second question is ultra wide shooting is better or standard shooting for vlog ??

Jevon, i have never learned cameras, i am a smart phone guy. And go pro dji osmo pocket type of guy. I like recording w my tablet too. I would love to lesrn these cameras. Lmk if u ever wana do a concrete colab, ive worked w a couple ppl in your niche! I click your videos and then look at the title, u r a great teacher! Mu h respect bro

For video, you're better off using the 11mm APS-C lens in crop mode on your FF Sony body. Smaller, lighter, cheaper, brighter, etc. - with phenomenal results. Works unbelievably well on A7Cii/A7iv. Plus if you do decide to shoot 4k/60 it looks the same because you are already in crop mode. Try it - you'll love it!

If you’re doing that then get an apsc body. You want to use the full sensor if you have a full frame camera

The 20mm F1.8 G already exists. It's cheaper with a brighter aperture - so why pay more for this F2.8 zoom lens that weighs more for vlogging?

@@NickPixelTVIt's nice but 20mm is wide enough for vlogging. Less cost and better light gathering abilities. It's good to have options though.

@@JevenDovey how does it compare to the 24mm prime zoomed in at 24mm for sharpness. I use the 24mm 2.8 as my go to compact Len’s in the a7cr, but sometimes need something a little wider. My thought process was that the 16-35 gm ii would give me more focal range with one lens, especially for landscape. Need to get my hands on it and test, sometimes the weight and size reduction can make a difference even though very similar.
