I have been enjoying your videos. Thanks. How much of a difference of image quality is there between A6400 and an EM1 MK2? I shoot primes on an A6000 currently. I use the 56mm f1.4. Is the A6400 going to be noticeably better than the EM1 MK2? Responsiveness, sharpness at ISO 1600 , jpegs and AF?? Would really appreciate your input especially since you use all these platforms

Hi Bob - Thanks for all the great insight into the world of mirrorless cameras. So I bought the Canon m6 m2. Regarding the lack of a built in viewfinder... I don't see this as a negative at all.. You see, size is super important to me and my shooting. AND, on a rare occasion I need an EVF. The fact is that Canon thought this through and developed a very nice solution with this accessory... Just make it removable..

I went with the A6400 and I have no regrets. I love Sony’s dynamic range, lens selection, autofocus, ability to customize, & video specs too. I went from the canon 80D and I never looked back. Lately I’ve been really considering going over to Fujifilm, they’re XT-3 & XT-4 look really enticing.

Excelente video!

Saludos!

All great cameras. Which one to buy, well it depends if you already invested in one of the systems or not. For me is no brainner since have Nikon glass at disposal. Honestly most of the people staring with photography will just grab kit lens and have no intention in making further investments in glass at all. Have many friends that do not want to invest, actually they prefer to take their phones on vacation more than camera simply because they never learned how to use camera. Great comparison, maybe some will say that you are biased toward Nikon, but at the end of a day we all prefer some things more than other.
@AlanCheong3 жыл бұрын
There is no autofocus on the Ftz adapter with Nikkor AF-D lens because there is no screw drive in the FTZ. So AFD lenses behave like a manual focus lens even though it's an F mount.

But I got Nikon Z50 in my hands and compared some photos with Fuji and some photos from Nikon seem better to me . Now I started thinking of upgrading fuji lenses with new XF27mm and XF 16-80mm but that is another 1000 or more $ or switching to another brand... Nikon Z50, Sony a6400 or Canon M6M2. With 2 lenses, Nikon covers from 16 to 250mm and at Sony and Canon I will be on the same regarding $. Can please someone convince me that the Fuji and 1000 upgrade is worth over buying Nikon Z50 for half less or changing to Sony or Canon. Will I be satisfied with Nikon Z50 long term? Thank you!

I would not invest in z50 now. Fuji x mount system is on the market much longer and there are far more lenses for it. If you have to switch system choose Sony or go full frame - Sony also has quite good lens selection for APSC. But IMHO image quality will be similar in z50, xs10, a6400… I don’t own any of this cameras and I’m Fuji user myself (xt20, xf18-55, xf70-300) so I may biased

I’m seriously considering grabbing a Z50. I WANT the Z6ii but don’t need it. I have an A6600 & it’s AF is excellent .. I just don’t enjoy the colors/images. I think the Z50 roots are from the D500 & a LOT of professionals earn a living with that sensor.

hey Tracy, how is the experience now with z50? i am confused between a6400 vs z50, can you please suggest?
@TCinSoCal2 жыл бұрын
@@KushagraPorwal I love the Z50 for it's compact size.. perfect for grab and go. I have to admit I am selling it but not because I don't love it. Using the Z50 led me to the Z6ii and I don't need both. The Z6ii is more camera than I need but I like having a body I can use for family photos/shots. The Z50 is great because with the FTZ adapter it gives you access to tons of more affordable and accessible Nikon lenses. I would NOT buy the Nikon Z 35 1.8 S.. I did and regretted it as it is more lens than I needed and not THAT much better for MY use than the much cheaper Nikon 35 1.8 (around $200). My 'kit' now is the Fuji X100V and the Z6ii. If I did not have the Fuji I would be keeping the Z50 for a body that I easy and perfect for grab and go. On the Sony .. I have tried Sony several times and they just aren't for me. I find the files/colors from the Nikon and Fuji are more pleasing to my eye and require less editing. For video I think the Sony could be the better play but I don't do that much video. For the price.. especially used.. the Z50 is a great little camera to grab very good images. Like any 'kit' lens.. it does much better in good light/outdoors. If you plan to shoot a lot indoors I would recommend the FTZ adapter and a few faster lenses. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Not really, how do you know what anyone else should buy? Do you know their needs, personal preferences, hand sizes? I, for one, hate those out-dated top dials which require one to completely move a hand from its shooting position to turn a horizontal dial at the top of the camera and then return to the shooting position. Most manufacturers moved away from that nonsense in the 80s to be more ergonomic and faster to use. Other brands use better placed dials which fall at the fingertips for fast adjustments on the fly.
