Yeah the R2 prices have been going down fast which is great, the R3 market is already tough and will probably be flooded!

First off, THANKS FOR 400+ SUBS! I've been gone for a minute, just moved, still moving, will be back to full time here on KZfaq in August! This was not planned, office isn't done, but I had to get something out there. Thanks for watching and what are your thoughts on the A7R IV? Other Notables (below): - ECM-B1M Microphone & Interface released (Not M1 Mic lol) - Slot 1 is now on the top - Exposure comp has a lock button - Can make my menu default menu - Can have video and photo (fn) function menu - Eye AF in Video - Can rename Video Files, counter doesn't reset for naming - Face detect in 4k with external monitor when recording internally - Save/Load User Settings to load onto other cameras, unless format - Can change color of focus area bars

As a canon shooter, I appreciate you bringing me up to speed on what each Sony body is really designed for. I’d love to switch to Sony but I just have too many canon lenses. It’s getting really tempting though.

I’d say stick to what is working. I really don’t have a brand loyalty as I’ve stated before, but currently Sony is killing it for me. I have been curious about the EOS R and want to get my hands on one. Surprisingly a lot of people complained about they camera and now most of the people I see switched to it. I think the Sony A7 IV is going to be the next upgrade for me.

Yeah I really don’t see this as a video upgrade for most people. I’m hoping Sony is going to try and separate their lineup a little bit better by maybe giving the A7 IV better video features but based on their history of releases I expect the A7 IV to have the same video specs.

@@WhiteMic I'm thinking and hoping the a7iiis will have 10bit 4k/60p internally (at least: externally) and object focus tracking. If so, I'll upgrade.

Nothing new special and innovated with this mark 4 release. Sony presenter kept saying "we listened to our customers." But yet didnt even add a flip out screen. All the newest cameras are looking all the same. Waiting for that game changer fe camera. Like how the iphone changed the cell phone market. Awaiting for that 'smart' ui software camera in the future. All camera brands are doing is just increasing megapixel numbers and calling it the greatest. But its still looking like a brick that cant even do light photo editing and sharing photos on social media platforms. Invent a camera that has wireless connectivity or even wireless charging. For example. Stick with my a7iii for the time being. Give me a camera that can shoot, edit and share within 5 minutes. Oh wait the zeiss zx1 can do that 🤗😬😂
