Cause I need to import this over and won't bother if it's not a semi permanent fix at least ☺️ just bought a used A7 III and the paint is not in the best of shapes. I also just bought an Atem mini extreme iso. I have the choice of getting another sony camera of lesser value or a BMPCC like the 4k or 6k. Would would you suggest? Do you think the black magic could go well with the sony? Thank you!

Was considering buying it but I had to rethink the whole situation though I mostly use prime lens mainly 1.2 / 1.4 Sony lens are notorious for being very expensive for now I will be sticking with Fuji with all of it’s limitations.

I've got an deal on a Canon 5D Mark III for 550$.It comes with 2 batteries,CF card,charger and a new shutter ready for replacement. It was used as a backup camera for wedding photography and it has 450k shutter count right now. Exteriror looks mint besides a few scratches and it works fine. Do you think I should take it?

I disagree Shutter actuations Deff do Count… most cameras are rated around 100,00-150,000, if you Get up To that count it doesn’t mean the camera is going to fail but it Deff does me you can get a deal on that camera. I’ve worked in a high volume studio so I see his point on not being scared of buying a high shutter actuation camera, I was working on a 5dSR for years got up to about 2 million actuations before it failed. In my opinion if you are buying a high end camera with a lot of shots on it, don’t be scared but also realize you have great bargaining power to get a lower price. You are taking a risk but if you can get something high end you are in a good position to get a great lower price even with a repair coming down the line.
