The S95c is a marvel tv that really reaches closer to the future of what is to come closer then any other tv. The qd oled technology is a game changer that samsung has crested and has Sony following them for it. So I think by choosing the S95C it is a great contribution to how the market will change by the creation of qd oled tech and take the competition to another level. Qd oled is catchy and a true game changing technology so it makes samsung the true new pioneer of game changing technology for the newer generation tvs. Just line how lg changed the game with woled technology for so long. So if that is what you want. Awesome go for it. All these tvs have there pros and cons. The few cons I found on the tv was the dropouts when the tv was connected to the ps5 and o ly the ps5 but I think I have managed to fix that issue hopefully. And the lack of settings customization capabilities. But that is honestly a personal option as far as settings go. I think a very large amount of people consider that to actually be a good thing as it does simplify things more for those who don't wsnt to really customize there settings and want to set it and forget it. Everyone's different and that's what makes it so cool. So congrats on your decision and I hope you love the tv. Please keep me up to date when you can. @@consumerreview2k so I just got the S95C 65 inch installed today! An amazing TV! I upgraded from a Samsung 60 inch HDR TV from 2015. The difference in picture quality is crazy noticeable. Day with this new TV and I’m loving it so far. I haven’t gamed in it yet, but I’m sure it’ll be a great experience. The only down factor of this tv that I quickly noticed was the operating system. It definitely took a lot of looking for to find all of my input sources. I can see how someone not tech savvy get frustrated by this.

@992MAGNUM. Hey, thank you for the comment and for checking out the video. The motion on Sony Tvs, in general, is the best in the business. The A95K last year really needs work in order for it to work natively without motion enhancements being on to help it look smooth during panning, especially horizontal panning. But the A95L has definitely made the motion better. Again, with the help of cine motion and motion smoothing. But the problem is that Oled tv suffers from motion due to the instant pixel response of the tv. Because it is so instantly responding, it is harder to make the image smoother looking and limit artifacts. So they have a bfi now to help and other technologies to make them look better. But there's a thin line because you also do not want the soap opera effect. But yes, I gotta give it to the A95L as the motion is definitely in the top for 2023. Last year, I was personally not a fan of the A95K motion handling, but this year, the A95L is just amazing.

The motion on the A95L is subpar. Look up QuantumTV's video proving that Sony's motion handling isn't cracked up to what everyone says it is.

Samsung can never be #1 as they refuse to give us Dolby vision. Dolby vision is the highest form of HDR and no other in house HDR format can come close to it. I’ve owned Samsung for years and once you go Dolby vision you’ll never go back to any other format. Samsung is also still barreling with their brightness bleed over in dark scenes. They haven’t been able to fix this since they entered the flatscreen game.

The little fine details that they really concentrate on. But yea the LG G3 really is neck and neck with it in multiple ways. As you see I have all 3 tvs and I really do think that LG doesn't get the credit they deserve for there processing power. Cause I have to say that it really is a different level. They have there own particular way of how there tvs are better in certain ways that get overlooked or over shadowed by Sony. But Sony does get the slight edge in the fine detail dept. And it's not entirely all the time either. Sometimes the g3 wins in certain scenes too. And Natively.

And other times when they just look at its best over the lg g3. I also think the S95c can be said the same of. But it does come down to preference. In person, you don't even see the difference. And I have to say that although people try and downplay the fact that Sony only has 2 2.1 hdmi ports, I agree. They really need to step it up and get with the times. It's ridiculous that we have to complain about such a simple thing. Get rid of the Bravia cam if you need to crying out loud. Lol

Oddly enough during the first minute of the video, all the black scenes on the A95L and S95C have this red tint to the black whereas on the G3 they look black.

I observed the opposite, on the Sony and Samsung the snow has a pink tint to it, same with clouds, on the G3 the snow and clouds look white, may be a very slight blue hue to it but that is normal in real life as it is a reflection of the sky. The G3 does look darker in many of these scenes but them I ask myself what would it look life in real life and to me the G3 looks the most natural. The Sony and especially the Samsung just push too much red. Take a look at the scenes where there is a road, on the G3 the asphalt actually looks like black/dark grey asphalt, on the others it clearly has a pink tint to it.

@celsi5563. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. In this particular comparison, it is a little more dim, and I think it's due to the picture preset that it's in. In most cases, the g3 is equal or even brighter than the A95L and S95C. And I'm specifically referring to hdr 4k content outside of filmmaker mode. But you can change those settings to your liking as you already know by owning your g2. The motion on the g3 I feel is good in 24p content but it's not perfect. Honestly think the S95c has the best motion out of the 3 in 24p content. Seems like it needs the lease amount of settings assistance to have the best motion but that's just a personal opinion. I have not seen the Panasonic. Believe me if it was available in the U.S I would most likely own it. I have heard that there game mode is the best in the market

@@consumerreview2k Thanks for the answer. I own the G3 in 65" in the meantime. The motion is not a single inch better than on the G2, and also the HDMI/eARC issues the G2 had with DENON AVCs still exist with the G3. Newly introduced with the G3: WLAN connection issues... I am not fully unhappy with the G3 (otherwise I would have returned it), but it's a little bit disappointing to find the flaws of the G2 returning on the G3... It seems to be a G2 with just a more recent panel.

Sony is smoother Eye soothing with brilliant colours like all colours are been dissolved in screen.. Samsung vision is harsh spiky Eye distorting all colours are whitish & foggy type almost dull colours.. LG is good with black levels and nice deep colours but picture is Edgy feels like computer Monitor not Tv.. Overall Sony # 1 LG # 2..

@mrevoexoled6430. Hey, nice to hear from you again. Correct in game mode, the lg is brighter than the A95L. The g3 has a much better game optimizer menu system. Not slightly better, either. Allot better. By miles. It's not even close. Plus, many ppl.say that the g3 clips details if you put the color up to high. Well, I didn't really notice details getting clipped until between 75 to 80. Obviously, Noone really raises the color up that high in the first place as the colors start to get overstated, but just saying that you really have to have the color up much higher to notice details being clipped. And that's awesome processing by lg that they do not get enough credit for.

I'm assuming processing related which means to me that it can be dependent on what you are watching. I have to double check but I have nit noticed any significant banding in dark scenes or in near black regions of any images displayed on the screen during content watching

@xJay2002. Thank you for the comment and question again. I wouldn't be too worried because of 2 things. 1st, the MLA technology is designed to actually not use any extra power consumption that can cause the tv to heat up quicker. What it does is take lost light that in normal oled panels gets lost and turns into heat, and redirects that energy so it doesn't get lost anymore towards your eyes. So that extra brightness you're seeing is just lost light being redirected to your eyes. All at the same time, while not using any extra energy consumption from the tv itself.

It cleans up Sdr and hd up in streaming very nicely. In regular hdr content in hdr10, it's no different. And hdr content in dolby vision they both have there issues but the g3 seems to look better. Dv on the A95L is pretty bad and still not fixed. But yes, as far as sdr and HD content, the A95L does have better upscaling processing. Motion is equal but I gotta still give it to the g3 in most cases as the g3 motion handling still looks smoother and more native to the eyes

I use a fee different brands but I tend to use the Simplified MFG SP14CAT50 the most.

@Cheese-Head. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Sorry for the late reply. Good question. I believe Apple tv has there own internal upscaling that gets prioritized first before the tv gets to. Then, from that point the tv just receives the signal and hdr format from Apple.

I purchased the 77 G3 and I don’t look back. It cost a little more but it is extremely bright so you have plenty of options to turn it down which I’ve had to do.

I own the 77G3 and it’s amazing! The HDR on this television is on another level. I watched Man of Steel last night. That movies excels in HDR. It’s blindingly bright! The 3D pop in the image is a great feature. The slightly bigger screen size of the 83 C3 isn’t worth the far better picture of the 77G3.

@gouki290 I would think either the S90C or S95C. It's the brightest and most colorful out of the 3 tvs and can run up to 144hz. The S90C has less of a chance of getting dropouts. The S95C seems to be more consistent with dropouts, which is ridiculous. But if you really want the better build quality and little bit of extra brightness and a better put the bix built in audio speaker setup then yiu would have to go for the S95c. And if you play primarily on the ps5, just be aware that the dropouts on the s95c are, again, much more common than on the S90C.

That is what a lot of people say. Only get the S95C ONLY IF you NEED the one connect box. The one connect box is also gimped to 40mbps HDMI ports while the 90C has full 48mbps bandwidth.

PQ wise, only if you get the 77” model, otherwise you’ll be playing the panel lottery…

@@metaridley77 got the G3 and I’m happy with it. C3 was great but the G brings out details I didn’t notice on the C. To be fair, I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in the C picture quality. Price not an obstacle, get the G. Wanna save some bread, get the C. You’ll be happy either way.

But when the A95L and G3 have their picture processing enhanced features enabled. Like expression enhancer for the g3 and reality creation for the A95l etc etc. I think the g3 pulls of the brightness more out of the 2 tvs. Plus the motion needs to be put up more on the A95L so that it can be better more equal to the g3. But overall colors, clearer picture, goes to the A95L by a very small hair

When does that come out?

I wouldn’t wait, life is short and what if we don’t get to enjoy ourselves in a year or two or whatever. There will always be something better coming out so when do you stop waiting and when do you start enjoy your hard work and purchases. This waiting mentality makes zero sense to me. Personally I buy a new tv every 3-4 years with a budget of $3K-$4K, this only costs me $1K per year which is less than $100 per month. Been doing this for 20 years and couldn’t be happier, sure I don’t own the latest and greatest, but do catch up with technology in a few years while enjoying last gen and still having paper to spare.

@lipiningole1381. Hey sorry for the late reply. The reason why is because LG has a lower black level floor that can sometimes crush blacks especially in folly vision. But you can fine tune the blacks a little better too. Or there are times when DTM can help with crushing but can also over lift or brighten midtimes and highlights, so you have to be careful. The qd oleds look lifted a little bit but it's not to bad. In most cases it helps with shadow details. And I think that it may look better in certain situations

But I think that the A95L is slightly better. LG has come a long way though. In the earlier days. Hdr was not the best. The tone mapping for lg has also come a long way too. I honestly think that of LG were to adopt qd oled, and combine it with the best processing of LG, WE would see how good LG can do.

Thats what I did, I went ahead and bought LG G3 but the Sony fan boys were thrashing me. I don't care I think for $1500 difference on 77 inch between LG and Sony its not that much better. Also LG is a settled system for ears with no BS so went with it.

@GoofieNewfie. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. The G3, in my humble opinion, is the closest to the G3. Mostly because of the processing. It fails pretty harshly in the audio dept. But again, you can get the g3 for much less and spend that extra money you're saving and use it towards a really good soundbar to help upgrade your audio system for a better experience. I have to say it really does make a difference when you have a beautiful display with the sound to match. It really does bring the feeling more to life. I have another A95L in my bedroom. Hooked up to a Sony soundbar and subwoofer. When that bass kicks in, it hits really nice and feels so much better when watching or playing video games. It truly feels .ore immersed. Just make sure you get a soundbar that is compatible with the g3 that has 2.1 earc for more dynamic audio format compatibility. Sorry don't mean to go off Subject to your point but I think the the g3 is the best tv overall value. And the customization settings are great. Yes you may have to really play woth the settings but that's the point. Fine tuning. You like your blacks a little more inky, you can do it in more then one way. You want brighter, brightness booster max, you want to fine tune specific colors, you got it. The Sony A95L can do the same obvious the g3 is less money.

@@consumerreview2k this particular room for me has a proper atmos setup with dual svs subs, svs elevations speakers and on walls. No soundbar required lol. But I don't like to have to turn it all on just to watch normal tv.

I had a C8 and just got G3 77. Love the TV. Was close to getting A95L, but couldn't pay $1,500, plus $300 more for 5 year plan, since $5000 plus $1050 five year plan at BEST BUY. Got G3 for $3500 plus $600 five year plan. Thanks OCGOD for helping me decide.

I have the lg g3 77 inch. Great tv. I keep them for 3 years. Qd oled have more color volume. But lg looks more natural

Thanks to Ocgod I got the G3. I just couldn't justify that extra $1500...plus extra for the 5 year plan for A95L. Maybe next time. Pockets aren't that deep 😅

G3 showing burn in after 4 months of the RTINGS longevity test. S95C minimal burn in after 6 months of the RTINGS longevity test. The Sony not been out long enough to judge.

I'm not sure if I even heard if any uniformity issues with either the S95C or A95L. But I will mention that both my A95L tvs have micro scratches on the tv screen from the way it was packaged when it was shipped. And for some odd reason, Sony decided not to put a protective film Lome all the tv brands do.

@jwhennink. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. There are several different ways ppl will interpret what's a real life scenario or not. Although there are those who typically use there tvs in bright lighted rooms, or people who use there tvs in dark rooms for a more theatre like vibe, it's there own interpretation of reality according to there individual preference at the comfort of their own home. There are just as many people who watch and play video games in the dark as there are when all the lights are on. And everything in between.

@jessusmauri. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I do think that motion is a little better on the S95c but upscaling in HD and sdr is better on the A95L. Although the motion looks better them last years A95k. But when gaming in fast action and fast pace action with allot going on at the same time. The S95c motion handling does seem to have a harder time handling all of that. It feels like it kind of glitches for a split second or hesitates a little.

I have the s95c In gaming no problem at all with ps5 Some people have problems as I know I am using a cooler under the box because it's getting hot The game mode is the best element in s95c

@Marco-em2in. Thank you for the comment and for checking out the video. It is very hard to choose a tv if you have to choose one. I get it. I think it really cokes down to budget for their preference 2nd. But if money is not a factor, then it really cokes down to preference. Some may still choose the lg g3 over the Sony a95l because of its processing. Although the LG processing is equal to Sony in some ways and better than Sony in others. LG does not get the recognition that they deserve when it cokes to their processing. They are top tier from that perspective. Some may choose the S95C for its super vibrant and wide color. Also, the S90C has a very good value, too. Although their processing may not be as good as the A95L or G3. It gets the job done. Really depends on personal preference if money again is not a major factor in the purchase decision-making process.

I have a G3, different experience. Every thing looks great.

@@consumerreview2k basically planned obsolescence, Samsung makes their stuff just good enough to last a bit longer than the warranty. I don't blame them, otherwies who is gonna buy all the stuff they pump out every year. My Samsung washer's bracket broke in less than 3yrs, how can a big piece of solid metal break so easily? if you google 'samsung washer spider' to read more about it, its a known issue, and my dryer's heating coil that I basically have to replace every 2yrs, their stuff just don't last.

They vary so much depending on hdr format being used. Tone mapping, and hiw you customize your black levels. Some ppl like them more on the inky black side and others prefer a little bit of raise so it will help with shadow details.

His calibration looks more natural to you. Any of these 3 oleds can be calibrated to look more natural. Plus spent the first 30 minutes talking about the LG and Sony.. only mentioning the Samsungs Tizen once. This wasn't a balanced review. This should have been an A95L and G3 review.

@DocHoliday586 No. Every qd oled I've seen calibrated, not calibrated or in store looks artificial to me, yes to me. I've owned Sony, Vizio and LG oleds and to me lg always looks better. While I loved my Sony a8h it just didn't wow me the way either my old LG c7 or my current G2 do. I will never own a Samsung.

​@@consumerreview2k I got a G3, game mode just a joke, I never use game mode, I use PC HDR cinema mode and with vrr allm, everything is perfect, so bright, so colorful, so nature. I use g3 as a monitor,no problem.I think you should give up game mode, use filmmaker mode and vrr allm dtm high peak brightness, I think this setting is the best setting for G3 gamming.

@alanclark9000. Hey nice to hear from you again. Sony is having a harder time justifying there prices more on tvs because other brands are actually becoming better in certain strengths that the Sony was world renowned for. Like motion, for example and color accuracy.

Issue I notice is some banding while streaming. And dark scenes kinda have a greenish blue tint to them. Doesn't look very pleasing at the moment and it's more dim too. As if we need another dim preset again. Lol

@@consumerreview2k yeah we don’t need another dim preset. I have Sony x900f and DV is so dim I have to max out everything including gamma to see anything. But I don’t have the greenish tint or banding. This must be on the new model this year. I was gonna upgrade my 900f to a80l but not with these DV issues.

@Jacopo_voice. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. I do recommend the g3 to just about anyone. I do recommend you purchase it from a reputable retailer that has a fair and good return policy as some retailers do not allow refunds on tvs in larger sizes.

I will mention that I was a big Dolby vision fan myself but lately I have been finding that there's allot of issues with Dolby vision implementation lately. There color and black levels have looked very off and it seems like it happens more often then on on any of the tvs I own that support Dolby vision. I have found that HDR10 seems to have a much better black level and shadow details with looking odd or raised in darker scenes. But that's just me so I understand. There are many people out there I have spoken to that feel exactly the same way as you regarding Dolby vision.
