Clearly a95l has more details while G4 has blacked out many parts. More black doesn’t mean less details

I think the A95L colors and processor wins for me. Are you getting the Bravia 9? If so what size?

83" is the perfect size man, there is no 83" QD Oled and the G4 has superior clarity in detail, better motion and better 3D Contrast over the A95L. 83" G4 is teh Winner once it becomes affordable. 👑

A95L due to better processing compared with Samsung. Went from G3 to Sony and although the alpha 11 is extremely good , G4 still is a WOLED and I personally prefer the better color volume over pure white peak brightness

I never care for 3d effects. I’ll take better color any day of the week.

Again a great video. I have a question regarding SDR gaming. Is the G4 brighter in SDR gaming than the G3 or the A95L?

I'm viewing this on a 77" OLED and this video actually shows the S90D being much more detailed than the G4. At time 23:23 on the G4, look at his right shoulder pad under the axe and also the chains on his forearm, the carved fine details are blurry, soft, and hard to make out, but moving to S90D at time 23:43, the details on the axe, the carved details on the shoulder pad, as well as the chain around his forearm are all much sharper, much more detailed and pronounced.

Bro the lg can get close to the qd oleds color. The main problem is the color space and the fact that lg oleds run at a very cold temperature. Here is how you fix it. First take your remote and point the cursor to any picture mode setting, now type in the secret code 1113111. Change color space on sdr to bt2020. Now also go ahead and enable the reduce blue light filter. Then go in to the white balance, set it to warm 50. Set the color upgrade to high. Also go down to the blue and set that to minus 50. Then go to contrast enhancer and set it to high. Turn off auto genre selection if its on. Then finally go to gamma and set it to bt1886 or 2.4. Finally increase the sharpness and turn on ai picture pro. These are the worlds best settings for any lg oled tv. Try it and prepare to be shocked. There will be a huge difference in color, clarity and 3d pop. I tried it on my c1. Thank me later. Please compare the g4 now to the qd oleds with these settings. BTW it took me almost 3 years to figure out the best settings through trial and error.

For me, as a gamer, the three best are S95D, A95L and S90D

U really giving us what we need! and much more tbh! 🙏🏼i made my mind up to A95L 77” based on You! & some Amazing others!, I also recommend U8K for my friends based on many videos i saw on youtube!, and they just got it yesterday, i tell them about “some” other youtubers setting, 2 maybe “while telling them that its not my setting and from exactly where i get it” And it they didnt like it much! Maybe they didnt like the tv!, so tmrw i will be going to them, and applying settings Can u og pleeeease just get my back! Lol 😅, & give me a setting! 😃 and i will and im already feel grateful for u, and ur G3 A95L G2 95K.. etc and ur whole cahannel video, no compliments!, and i like they way u do ur setting and like it like out of filmmaker mode.. standard for oled! ..etc So if u have the time for it whether today tmrw next week or a month i will be more thankful to u, if u cant its Surely ur right big brother! And i respect😃. But like i recommend the tv for them and it seems like they didnt like it yet! Lol and im feeling so bad for this😄. And whether these game mode setting can be applied on other modes? I really enjoyed this video. I like that you gave your personal opinion and were not afraid to make a statement about which you thought was better. I think Sony makes the best TVs but I was waiting on an 83" QD OLED from them and since the G4 came out with MLA this year i decided i didn't to wait anymore and bought the G4. I really wanted the A95L bad, but after watching this I'm insanely excited about my purchase. TV gets delivered in 2 days.

Bro no offense but there is NO WAY G4 is gonna have better colors than A95L. QD-OLED color volume is no matches. This was proved by many trust worthy sites. Color Volume wise, Color Luminance wise QD-OLED take the edge. Maybe you're just messing with picture settings too much but that's fine. It's all subjective in the end.

Hi Subscribed... great channel....!! I'm purely for movies via ub9000 bluray player and own a panasonic hz2000 65inch oled... I love the natural cinematic look but they keep chopping / changing each yr.. ie.. flagship built in speakers which I dont need..(surround setup). now do 77inch but no mla panel like the 55 or 65... but charge for it... 🤦🏾‍♂️ Love panasonic picture but seem to now lag behind other competitors... I'm hoping to go bigger this yr 77 or 83...?? Or projector route but cant get over losing the black levels plus brightness.. Would you say the lg g4 is the most cinematic out of these 3...?? Many thanks for any advice..

LG G4 blacks are better than A95 but colors are more true to life and bit sharper on A95L

The Lg G4 has processing on behind the scenes even with the settings off. Sony done this with the a95l increasing sharpness above reference and I think Lg is doing the same this year with their color and their contrast. The 3d effect comes down to contrast and sharpness. Even the detail will be effected by those parameters. Turning on contrast enhancer and increasing the sharpness on the a95l will increase the 3d effect. Even decreaseing the black level to 49 will increase the 3d effect. Also, baseline sharpness is 50 on the a95l, i use 60 on my 77 inch, however lowering the sharpness too much will lower the detail and 3d effect. Edit: I dont recall if contrast enhancer is available in game mode, peak luminance low will offer a contrast boost in its stead. Also I prefer to keep tv sharpness constant and adjust game sharpening to taste.

I have a g3 and it is a very good TV, for me it has some flaws such as the game mode, but I am happy, I don't think I will change it for this year's ones, but I will wait to see the 2025 ones, which will be much superior.

I recommend quantum TV, s90d calibration settings mid blowing 😮

I really wanted a 83-85 inch size, but was initially going to sacrifice size (G4) for picture quality (A95L). The 83 inch LG G4 is now my choice for picture quality, clarity, 3D effect, and size. Your reviews are very detailed and well done!
