Just loaded the CAMSET into my A7 IV. Works like a charm and is a great starting point to adapt your PAL workflow to my preferences. I am dumbfounded by how effective your PAL workflow is and that I didn't even think of using the custom shoot mode dials like that. Great content and value add. Thanks Mark, I will keep the Patreon going, as I feel I have received more value than from your videos, ebooks and camset than the cost of my initial Patreon subscription

@AlphaCreativeSkills I think it all worked properly but when I press function it is metering in the top right not finder reframe rate as the video suggests. Did something go wrong or have you just updated the custom settings since this was made. Thanks mark.

Hi What exactly gets saved? MR 1-3 only? Or does Manual (M), S, A and P settings also get saved?

Super important note here - make sure both cameras are on the same firmware ver. otherwise it will not work.

The CAMSET files are model-specific

Mark, Please excuse me if you covered this but I cannot see it. If I load your camset and then edit one setting in Action (M2) and then save that edited setup does it overwrite the setups in the other memories (M1 and 3)

1, 2 and 3 are saved to the camera and a CAMSET. M1 to M4 are stored to the Memory Card. A CAMSET will not override the M1 to M4 memories on the card.

The CAMSET saves everything including dials, custom keys and Fn menu etc.

Any idea why that menu wouldn't show on the a6600? I've scoured online and can't figure out what's going on b/c people seem to indicate this is a Sony thing and the a6600 is still being sold so shouldn't be a "new vs old" thing, so I'm confused. Any help would be appreciated as I'm trying to step up my content... GREAT video by the way from concision to high production quality!

The 2019 A6600 predates the latest menus by one year. You need an A6700 if you want to access the latest menu options.

Will this CAMSET for A7RV work with the new Ver. 2.02? Tried it with Ver. 1.00 and it didn't work either. Help!

I keep the CAMSET's up to date on my Patreon.com/markgaler support channel. Sometimes the CAMSET needs updating after a major firmware update.

just bought a6700 trying to load Marks camset for camera.. Followd his video for doing this watch video six or seven times. can not get it to load to replace whats there. any one help what am i missing

Hello Mark, I updated my sony A1 to the latest update 2.01, going through update 1.35 first. Now I can no longer save/upload the camset (I'm referring to the sony2 camset uploaded from Patreon) ... the option is grayed out and if I try the operation the message that appears is; "this operation or setting not available as follow' > Memory recall .. no problem with the other A1 .. Do you have any suggestions in this direction please?

The version 2.01 Camset for the A1 on my Patreon support channel works for both version 2.00 and 2.01. Older CAMSETS do not work after the update.

You have to load CAMSETS with the shoot mode dialled to P, S, A of M - not a Memory Recall (as indicated in the message on the camera). This should also be outlined on the CAMSET page instructions.

My camera States it has uploaded CAMSET1 but it looks nothing like yours when i hit Fn button.

Can you add this comment to the Patreon support channel where you downloaded the CAMSET. It is important to state the camera model and CAMSET version when doing this. I do not name my CAMSETs with the name CAMSET01. They are usually named with MG in the name.
