I cried when I saw FF7 remake. SONY Wins E3 for me personally. The trifecta of Last Guardian, FF7, and Shen Mue 3 will never be topped. Not to mention Uncharted 4 looks great!

Those would all be cool, but for me personally, I have a connection with FF7 from when it was my first RPG, one of the first fictional stories I cared about, and from a time when I was old enough to understand the game, but young enough to let my imagination gloss over all the imperfections. I'll always remember it, and to have them at least TRY to do it justice on new hardware is very exciting to me.

That's true, but SONY presented it to me, and that's the system I own. Also I believe Shen Mue is console exclusive to PS4, and also on PC. Most XBOX games are like that, so I buy those on PC.

Welp, seems like I'll start saving for a PS4. I mean look at these highlights: -Final Fantasy VII Remake -Kingdom Hearts 3 -Uncharted 4 (Only played the 3rd game, but boy was it a fun game) -Persona 5 -Ratchet and Clank -Tearaway Unfolded -Shenmue 3 (Never played the first 2, but I've seen some gameplay of it and it piqued my interest) -Plus all the other great games that were released before long before E3.

I've been a hardcore PC gamer ever since the PS3 came out and I couldn't afford the $600 price tag, but Sony did it. They turned me back. I'm getting a PS4 so I can play Last Guardian, FF7 remake, and Shenmue 3. Congrats, Sony, you win.

I know, but hell...I've been leaning more and more back into the console crowd, and this was the tipping point. My current gaming comp is getting to be out of date, and I just can't drum up the cash for upgrades. I can, however, now justify throwing $300-$400 on a console that can play the games I want. And it's not like I don't still have a gaming computer, just not a stellar one. I think I can safely straddle that fence for a while, and in the meantime I'll get to play some awesome PS4 exclusives!

Zaziuma I don't know... FFVII isn't an exclusive, The Last Guardian looks old compared to new games (and it's been around since 2008). Other games were awesome but after Microsoft showed xbox 360 retro compatibility I'm asking myself "Why can't Sony do the same?" That's all everyone has been asking about since Ps3. I think Beteshda was my favourite but considering eveything that was shown I guess that it was a tie between the main conferences

I haven't really in-depth watched the show for like a year, but as the person who first pointed their size out years ago during that Sony conference, I'm very happy he's still called Tiny Hands.

Sony won this E3, Microsoft's conference was really good too. Gaming for this generation looks bright, hope it doesn't crash and burn. I'm so glad everyone was pissed off with CGI trailers and fake game play that developers and publishers were forced to show actual game play.

Wow did they nail it. Just finished watching Nintendo's E3 and I guess it is safe to say Sony took this year. Microsoft came out swinging but WOW even then Sony did everything right.

Sony's was surprising and amazing Nintendo's was kinda predictable Sony's games are mostly coming out next year Nintendo's are coming out this year. But man, Nintendo had like no surprises(outside of the 3DS and a Tennis game...)

Donglebrr No, not really. The leaks only spoiled the 3DS stuff and the Smash DLC. Everything else, you didn't need a leak to know about. Except Mario Tennis.

im glad to see gore is back in call of duty. treyarch's COD: World at War was a WWII call of duty and it was super gorey....shotguns and snipers tore people in half literally, decaptiations everyhting

At least one of 3 dreams came true for so many people here! This is the equivalent of the Cubs winning for a lot of gamers. The only thing that could add to this (cause Nintendo already happened) is a PC gaming show resulting in a Half Life 3 announcement.

Among a conference featuring the confirmation of The Last Guardian and the announcement of a remake of FFVII, I would never have suspected that the internet-breaking announcement would be the development of a brand new Shenmue game. And yes of course I backed it.

Kinda sad that there wasn't any Saints Row. Seriously want to see where #5 takes it. That Horizon thing looked awesome though. Also, for The Last Guardian, every feather on Trico has its own individual physics. That's probably where most of the PS4's power went. XD

They have really tiny bosses in monster hunter.... the normal veraion will be like a huge beast while the tiny one will be very cute and hit like a truck..... ( they hurt a lot )

I loved the shenmu games when they were on the dreamcast, how can you forget FREE and QTE, they trailblazed on that. I'm scared that another one might make it all look a bit embarrassing. The kickstarter trailer doesn't help.

I was sort of spoiled the super surprise of FF7 remake when i read about how Sony would reveal this information the next day. There were reports about it from Siliconera and a "verified" NeoGAF user. My reaction to this news was "No way in hell, i aint gonna be fooled a 3rd time, Sony. I have to see it to believe it." I uh, broke down and cried a bit when i saw the trailer.

you guys need to play the 1st two Shenmue games in order to truly understand what the Shenmue games are all about. the first Shenmue is on the Sega Dreamcast and Shenmue 2 is on the "old" Xbox. good luck trying to get either of those video game consoles and those games. here's hoping that maybe we'll get a Shenmue collection of some sort in the near future. unless Sega has any rights to the old Shenmue games and refuses to have a collection like that like the assholes that they are : p.

I don't think it is necessary to pick winners, considering it all comes down to personal preference on both hardware AND software rather than the conferences themselves, whether you go in with an intentional bias or not. For me, personally: Microsoft had more games to show, Sony had more varied/interesting content (although a lot of them were third-party), while Nintendo - I don't know what happened there, I choose to blame Amiibos!

I see no mans sky has NOT planet sized palnets the fact that the things you see in orbit are not much bigger when youa re on the ground jsut shows that the planet is not bigger then maybe half a city at best. concidering this seeing SO MANY stars is quiet imaginable because you literly just spread out all cities and villages of the world into a open space. nothing more. gimme 1:1 earth times a trillion. THEN we can talk. right now its sjut minecraft with space interruptions.

not trying to be disrespectful to fraser or anything, but i really think they should stop doing E3 winners. PS always end up winning, Xbox gave their best conference ever, but still got meh, even though they had more exclusives, free backwards compatibility, DayZ and mods. While PS had a bunch of multi plats, and one cool new IP. Theres just no point in doing winners if PS is just gonna end up winning everything anyways

PS actually have more exclusives. Microsoft's exclusive are meh: Halo (nobody cares) Tomb Raider is timed so u can get it on PS4, Gear of Wars (not a sequel just a remake and FF7 remake is better and necessary than this). Sony get Uncharted 4, Batman, FF7, Last Guardian, Seamue 3, No Man Sky, Etc. Backward Compatibility? So you telling me that people should buy XBone so they can play 360 games? (I already have Xbox 360 and play most of 360 games) Fallout 4 mod able? It's timed exclusive and you can do it on PS4 later on. HoloGens is the only thing impressed me and some of their exclusives. Not bashing Xbox or anything Microsoft actually did a good conference.

I agree with you to a certain point . I just want good games and I am fortunate to be able to own a decent pc and all the consoles. I like that the companies are competing so I get better experiences for my favorite hobby. Picking a winning side is redundant and should only be debated by 12 year olds. I can understand having to become a fanboy because you are a child that cannot afford to purchase all the consoles, so you have to defend your choice of console by bashing others. Don't feed into this stupid debate. Play the games and support this wonderful industry
