Looking forward to the XM-GTR3301D. I had one back in like 2011, it lasted all of a few weeks before it would cut out about 5 minutes after starting the car and driving. Ended up giving it away. It bumped pretty hard at 2 ohms for those couple of weeks.

I had the silver Sony and .any many others had some nice 1k to 1300 rms class d amps and some high end mobile es amps geater towards high power sq

Picked up xm-404EQX last year for 10 bucks sold it to a buddy for 80😂. It was solid amp for sure.

Back in the day it was all heat sink,today its all about small amps with amazing power,not enough heat sink and fans instead.

these amps are class AB, efficiency around 50%. A lot of newer amps are class D, efficiency can be upwards of 90%

The sony amp top left yhe mobile es amp is quite a powerful amp and very highly reguarded as a top sq amp and sells for quite a bit of money .

@@bdaudio9395 that's good for an old Sony amp. I just found one like the 3 you had the far right side. 600. The caps were in need of replacement. But it still put out 135 watts per channel at 4 ohms.cant wait to see more of your dynos. You have a lot of amps I've never heard of. And they really put out some serious power for the 80s and 90s
