The nostalgia!! I was taken on a family trip to DisneyWorld in Florida when I was 12 and I recorded a lot of tape with the exact same camcorder....CCD-TRV138 and it lasted me a year overall

Well this camcorder CCD TRV138 have the same quality if not a bit worse than recording at 240 lines of horizontal resolution of Video 8 tapes lmao Hi8 cameras from early 2000s where very bad tbh.

Hello! I can't remember which one it was but I usually use Sony Hi8 MP 120 video 60 Digital 8 or Maxell XR-Metal Hi8 MP 120 Hi8. It was either one of these two but I couldnt really tell the difference between these honestly haha

hi I have the same camera and everytime I open the display the camera stops shooting is there a fix ?

Hello! I havent actually ran into this problem before but you might have some luck finding forms online. It sounds like ware & tear since the camera is very old. May have to find a replacement. Good luck I hope you figure it out!

You can get AV cables that plug into your camcorder & capture card. The capture card then plugs into your laptop where you can download / save / edit the videos.
